WARNING ALL SPOILERS---

If you thought that the part with the lady in avp teaming up with the predator was stupid well guess what?In RE2 yes thats right in RE2 Alice teams up with the Matt(aka Nemesis) at the end where the company is tring to kill them both.Just something I thought was interesting that both movies that he written have both lead ladies teaming up with the villian at or close to the end of the movie.

Maybe Paul Anderson is trying to send a message that everyone can get along regardless of your sex race, if your an alien, or hidious mutant, and dont forget Kitana helping liu Kang and Co in mortal kombat.

The part in AVP where the Predator and the human team up is directly taken from one of the ORIGINAL comic storylines.

Plus you guys seem like you all know how the Predators act when in reality we've only seen 2 movies. In the first he hunted everyone. In the 2nd movie... at the end... They could have easily just taken out Danny Glover. But they didn't. I must admit I never read a lot of the AVP comics but if you judge what a Predator would do in a 3rd film just because you remembered what he did in the first movie, think about the ending to the 2nd.

man I had the predator 2 game for Genesis that was a cult classic... but the nemesis thing doesn't seem cheesy to me cuz they were close at one time... they join to fight a greater evil...

Eh, its just strange because in Resident Evil 3 on Playstation, the nemesis was just a total badguy, though a singleminded one at that. Funny thing about RE3, in the first Nemesis encounter of the game, if you choose to run away from him, we see that the Police Station's doors open when pulled. We then see them being slammed into. Nemmy was trying to push open the door's Jill just opened five seconds ago. Idiot.

And just when I thought they couldn't fuck up Resident Evil enough....I didn't like the cheesy idea of a city wall locking everyone in Racoon City, I hated Alice's Spider-man antics in the trailer, and now they are making Nemesis "human"....FUCK THEM!

RE: Apocalapsefurious *spits on the ground*

They introduce a character that has nothing to do with the games and make her the hero instead of the regular characters being the prominent ones. *laughs* What utter nonsense!furious

Perhaps you people should stop complaining and start writing for movies and getting them produced. Then people will bitch about your shit, and so on and so on. You don't like what these people have done? Don't see the fruckin movie. I for one will see it on the first day, as I love RE and Milla Jovovitch.

No. Sorry. Doesn't work like that. This is their job, not ours. If they can't do it properly, then they should stop.

well yeah but not too many people went to see RE, eventhough it's one of the better zombie flicks I've seen in a good while... I know RE apocalypse will be good no matter how many cliched stereotypical beauty and the beast moments it has, because I have a fear of death that incidentaly borders necrophilia...

yeah I'm scared to death of it but I always seek it out, movies, books, games, and I have nightmares because to me there is nothing scarier, I'm not really talking about working in a mortuary and skullfucking a freshly thawing body, but I do seek out my fear in order to abolish it...

If a dead man whacks of and screams, "NOOOOOO!", is it necrophilia?

Actually, it may very well be true that at the end, Nemesis helps Alice. But it may very well be true that that's not what really happens. We saw a clip AGES ago, of Alice shooting at an umbrella chopper, then Nemesis stepping in and shooting down the chopper with a rocket launcher. And then guess what? Alice doesn't just stick around to pat ol' Nemmy in the back and say good job, she runs away from Nemesis. We don't know what really happens in the movie. I don't know, you don't know. So I'd apreacite it if you weren't spreading bullshit around. People tend to take rumours and make them into facts far too often. Especially here.

Actually that is what I plan on doing, because I'm majoring in Media Arts. I wish I could be given the opportunity to rewrite the script.

When it comes adapting an exsisting story from one form of media to another, it should be a priority to stay loyal to an original work. The reason why Resident Evil was even made was becuase it's fan base was huge when it was first announced back when RE2 came out. Movie studios "should" keep that original fanbase in mind when making a movie, but in the case of Resident Evil they are not. Infact the only ties to the game series are the names and designs of charecters and insignias. The story has skewed waaaay off target.

I also don't like the fact that there aren't anymore true villans in movies anymore. Every movie villan has to have a sensative side, and this is self evident in old favorites like Jason Vorhees, The Predator, and now Nemesis. It's like the new movie trend, move over bullet time, make room for the simpathetic bad guy.

You have a good point. but even still. Too much bitching. One has to admit, Mko has seen far more than it's share of disgruntled fanboys.

I Loved AvP. It made complete sense that the humans would have to team up with one species and the Aliens are too primitive. Yes the Predators are just that predators and they hunt, but they weren't hunting the humans, the humans just got in the way. The movie was done very well IMO. I would just LOVE to have seen her try to explain away all that has happened and where the entire team was at. It also could have been longer.
