Is Ed Boon a Predator fan?(details inside)

I have played MK3 many times and Cyrax just reminds me of predator in one of his fatalities he dials a detonation sequence and laughs before he blows up just like the part in predator.And all the cybers have dredlocks too and turn invisible.I also feel a Predator presence in MK9 with them too has anyone ever thought that he may have gotten the insiration for the cybers partially from the Predator?

but I'm guessing he had watched predator and thought it would make some cool characters cyrax being the most predator like IMO

It's widely known that the cyborgs were 100% based on Alien and Predator designs, so yes, Ed Boon and the rest of the MK team like Predator. This was something established over 15 years ago. tongue
