I think he will get them deep into the playoffs but not a championship, D-wade is no way near the player of kobe and shaq required kobe 4 a championship.

The question I have is where is Miami's depth off the bench? If they can get solid production form their bench and play solid D away from Shaq, then they'll be in the playoffs. But Detroit, Indiana and surprisingly the Knicks will be a huge test for them.

He is but not this year. Dwanye Wade is a very good player but he's not Kobe. I still think though Shaq will bring them a championship soon though.

Let me say this first...im not on a bandwagon...my teams are Seattle, Dallas, Milwaukke, and New Orleans (in that order)

I honestly think it will be Detroit over San Antonio this year...barring major injury...Spurs got very much better with Brent Barry (locker room leader)...but not enough against Detroit...

I personally hate San Antonio...and Sacremento...

Indiana will win it all if Detroit doesn't...

Shaq will work in Miami...but don't expect Dwayne Wade to fulfill his potential...most of his baskets are going to Shaq...he will finish #1 in assists this year...

Slica - and I hope Gary Payton doesn't show up in Boston...the Lakers screwed him over royally...

I would Have to say in the East Detroit is still the team to beat, but Miami is probably the next best team. In the west, Minnesota and the Blazers could make runs, especially Minnesota.

Are you crazy? Gary would boost boston more than ever!
Not just cuz thr my fav team but because this is his chance to get revenge against the lakers and lead boston along with pierce and the rest of the team to an NBA championship. Pierce pretty much soley led his team to the playoffs and with payton and galotta/few good rookies boston could be a good ball team.

yes the lakers sold him but they got fucked in their trade and recieved shit, payton should take vengance against them and support boston.

He's gonna come into the season about 30 lbs lighter (currently at 24). Should be quicker with more confidence, like the young Shaq in Orlando. I hope Wade is moved to 2 guard.

Shaq seems to be in alot better shape now, I think he might take Miami far, but not a ring.

I say San Antonio wins it all, although I dont care for them.
