And, at least where I come from, Post-Hardcore seems to be the most popular music amongst teens, which is a sub-genre of metal.

I know, right? when i was a kid it was all megadeth, anthrax, metallica, iron maiden, napalm death. On the flipside though, we did have stuff like vanilla ice and warrent. it was pretty embarrassing getting stuck riding around in a friends car jamming that shit.
