People compare apples and oranges as an analogy to compare to totaly different subjects, that have virtually nothing to do with each other. BTW Oranges suck, i don't know why people like them. Apples are better IMO

its like comparing a woman to a man, u know there of the same species, but they have different characteristics... u know like apples r smaller toards the bottom and bigger towards the top, oranges r completely round, apples r usually red, yellow, or green, oranges r either orange or light red, oranges r split into pieces on the inside, apples r solid... its just things like that, u know there both fruits but there different...

Anyway, Apples vs. Oranges, I'd have to say Apples, and same shape or not, they are still food, and food is good, so therefore, I really don't care... Apples OR oranges... they still put nourishment in your body.

Personally I think it's a stupid analogy, because apples and oranges, different though they may be, are still both fruit, people may like one and not the other for a variety of reasons. I think a more fitting analogy would be "like comparing Muhammed Ali in his prime to sliced bread." See, there, you're looking at two things with completely different purposes. I mean, really, how can you compare Muhammed Ali's prowess in the ring with the convenience of sliced bread? See, they're good for different reasons. With apples and oranges, their purpose is taste.

I'd have to say I prefer oranges over apples, although apples are less of a hassle to eat because you don;t have to peel them, unless you're a pussy and don't like the skin.

It's two things that can't be compared, like different types of music. They're in different categories so they can't be compared by things in another "universe". Even though i like Apples and Oranges,... maybe you don't like one of them because where you come from they're not in good season, like ever??? Hehehe,

Pepsi and Coke both taste more like "apples" more than "oranges"...
MK tastes more like "apples & oranges", and SF tastes like "A whole lotta apples, and a lil' or none of the oranges..."

Two things may be totally different, but I can ALWAYS tell which one brings me more joy/happiness ect. In my world, there are no apples or oranges. Just shit that I like better for personal reasons.
