Wow, this is an amazing game. IMO, this one of (if not, the only) fighting game that surpasses Mortal Kombat. Simply beautiful on all ends of the spectrum. The music was VERY good (although it didn't really mix well with the game, as the music seemed more like something you'd hear at a party rather than something you'd hear while beating the crap outta someone).

Just one question..

O Brother, Where art thou? Is there gonna be a sequel or what? C'mon Rare, you can't leave us hanging! The only info I can find on KI, is the game itself, nothing along the lines of concept ideas.....

im pretty sure that Killer Instinct is done. It was a kick ass game but for me no game is better then Mortal Kombat. And Mk is still around so who cares

Both KI games were great and I'm definitely a fan of them. I'd love to see a sequel too but no one knows if one will be amde or not! MK will always be greater though!

I totally agree. Killer Instinct is a kick ass game, a very big favorite next to Mortal Kombat, so I wouldnt mind seein a sequel.

What I heared through Nintendo was that there will never be a Killer Instict game again. This was announced about 6 years ago by Rare (wich was then working only with Nintendo), but who knows..maybe it will happen.

BTW Orchid kicked ass, as well as the opening theme for KIGOLD

You know what sucks!? I had Killer Instinct Gold, and didn't think much about it when I first got my 64. Now that I have moved, most of my games were lost, and that was one of them sad I want to play it so badly now that you've reminded me, I love the Pirate Ship Level. THAT GAME ROCKED!
Is there an official way to request a game to a company? If so, let's do it! OMG imagine Kilgor in Tekken 4 graphics...*squirt! Oh excuse me I have to go...

I would like to see a KI3. The first one has just excellent. My favorite character was orchid. Her combo was kick ass. The second felt a little weird to me but i still enjoyed it alot.

well there is a rumour going around that ki3 is indevelopement for the xbox but i dont know how much stack i can put into that rumour btw this was a year or 2 ago so i dont know

I love both of the KI's. Up to this date, i still play them. The combos, combo breakers, death finishes, characters, and music was awesome. One of the best fighting games in history.

I thought there were 3 KI games KI ,KI2 ,And then Gold on 64?
