You're arguing the pretty reasonable points that money and celebrity can make stuff go away and that we don't know Kobe. That's good and all, but it's just as possible that this girl just cried rape after the encounter. There are lots of women out there who would knowingly sleep with a married man if there is enough 'attraction' on whatever level. Half of them probably wouldn't have even told the news people about it. Kobe could get a lot of women if he wanted.
That's just my opinion. For all I know, the girl could have changed her mind during the encounter and Kobe wouldn't stop.

Personally I don't care. Call it cold, but whether or not she was raped doesn't affect me anymore.
