Last of Us - Thoughts? Some Spoilers

So I got the game, for the most part I enjoy it, however... I'm not liking the "Clickers". They're the third phase of the fungus infection and they kill you instantly once they grab you. I'm in an area where I have to sneak around that and I believe four other "runners," the first phase infected creatures, and for some reason I am just getting my ass handed to me.

I like what I've seen for the most part, it does move slow at first, but it gets more intense. Overall, I'd get it if you haven't. But I was told that some day one patch doesn't allow the autosave to work. So yeah, thoughts for whoever got it?

I'm getting it for my birthday next week. I played the early access demo, and was pretty impressed. It's choices in gameplay are what I really love most about it.

The day 1 patch actually had nothing to do with the glitch.

Basically what would happen is that you would go to manually save in the start menu, but you couldn't because it said that it was still trying to autosave, and it would never finish trying to autosave, forcing you to restart your PS3. Then you would have lost all of your progress that you had gained while it was trying to autosave.

This happened to me after I had been playing for 3 hours. I was pissed, but they've fixed the glitch now. So it's all good. The game is fantastic.

Ahh, I was told that by a friend but, meh. tongue

Might go back at the game later on, really ticked me off that one part.

I've just found the car battery. Had to stop there, because I had to get some sleep.


I don't have a lot of time to play, which sucks, because I'm genuinely enjoying this game so far! The intro is absolutely amazing. Incredibly well done. If you're not convinced about this game yet, you will be once you've played through the first five minutes. Lower the lights, crank the surround sound, and enjoy the ride.

I don't think anyone had said anything that's essential to the plot.

Oh, I know! I wasn't being snarky or anything. I'd just really like to not spoil the game. I'm really enjoying it so far.

I beat it and man... It was one of the best single player experiences I've ever had. From start to finish I was completely immersed in this game. Every thing about it was completely remarkable. Art Direction, Characters, Gameplay, Story, and Atmosphere. This game has it all. If you have a PS3, you must play this game. It's that damn good.

The Multiplayer is actually really fun too. Out of 30 people in my camp, only 2 are hungry.
