Bigfoot is already proven to be fake. The dude who first claimed to see him admited he made it all up. As for Nessie, ehh I donno I think it is the same thing.....But then again this is coming from someone who doesn't believe in curses, ghosts, aliens, existing prehistoric beings, and other nonsense shit. So your guess is as good as anyone else's, I just won't believe it until I see it.

I've always been interested in the lochness monster. The idea of a modern day pleseosaur intrigues me to know end. Whether it exist or not, is difficult to say. But the BBC's report claiming to have disproved Nessie with satallite surveilance was complete and utter bullshit. NASA itself said that no current technology was capable of doing what they claimed to have done... which was to scan every last inch of lochness lake simultaneously(sp?).

As for Bigfoot, Tenacious D said it best: Scientists have proven that the sasquatch is real.

Actually, I think one of the most interesting myths I've heard is about the Jersey Devil, as outrageous as it sounds. I did some research one night, and the sheer amount of sightings from that period is incredible. Of course it proves nothing, but it's nice to think, "what if?".

Actually, there is a VERY good special on History Channel right now (if u got ONDEMAND you can watch whenever u want) that don't prove Bigfoot exists, but it shows a lot of proof SOMETHING exists out there. I wouldn't be so quick to shoot these things down.

I was never into big foot, but i was always interested in the lochness monster. By sketches and such, it looks pretty cool. People claim that they have seen it before, even though no body knows for sure. Personally, i think there is a possibilty of it being real.

Other than watching episodes of the X-files ("The Jersey Devil"), I never really looked into the Bigfoot (North American or otherwise) legend.

I want to believe that there are things out there that we just cannot find, regardless of how big they are...it just adds more mystery to life. I've gone to the extent of researching and writing a paper on the Loch Ness Monster mystery/hunt for college. Unfortunately, as of late, even I have had my doubts on its actual existence (all thanks to the most famous picture of "Nessie" finally being admitted as a hoax).

Bigfoot, and Nessie have both been proven as hoaxes, along with that infamous alien autopsy video. I'm not sure about "Mothman" or this "Santa Clause" guy smile. I heard that there are alot of unknown regions that lie deep in the oceans. Scientists beieve that there are thousands, or even millions of unknown creatures live in the deep waters. I also read somewhere that there is some sort of black hole that lies very very deep in the Atlantic ocean near Europe and Africa.

nessie has never been proven to be fake, the first story about it dates back to about 500A.D. with St.Columbus... and it has grown from there

I like to believe that those things are real (all of those mentioned) just because it makes my life a little bit more interesting thinking, "What if?".

i was watching discovery channel one morning and they were reviewing the notorious bigfoot video that has had said to be fake by its creator's son(i think).as they viewed the video they noticed that the creature had a big "lump" sticking out of it's leg which determined to be a torn muscle, something that could not have been faked due to limited special effects they had during the decade this film was shot.anyways, its best to keep an open mind.

No it's best to live your life and not worry whether or not there is anything out there. Curiosity killed the cat. What ifs just either end in disapointments or worse.

i take things into consideration and i try to be open minded about things.should i not think about god and just throw my beliefs of him/herwinkaway just because of my fascination with him/her might end in a disappointment if his existence is proven to be false? i'll worry 'bout that point when i get there.

No that's not what I meant. I'm not saying you should stop believing in anything, but it's just that sometimes people spend their whole lives with stupid what ifs, and the miss out on everything they have at their fingertips. I'm not saying don't believe, just don't neglect.

That was in the show I was referring to above also. They said if that is what is really going on there, and they can't think of what else it could be, there is no way they could have detailed that much in the year the video came out. Either it's not a muscle pulling or......somethings out there..

I'v always liked to have a little bit of hope that they exist, but not SO much that if they were proven to be fake, that i would be sad and dissapointed. No way.
Having a little imagination about this kinda stuff i think is healthy for a person, thats why i believe that one day we will be visited by aliens, (maybe not very soon) and that in some other distant world, there are such things as unicorns, and dragons, you know, the kinda stuff rhaspody and sonata sing about. smile

One creature that has basically been proven to exist is the giant squid, arcetoothus(don't know if the spelling is correct), or Kraken... many sightings and some specimens collected... later

Things like this will never be proven to be false because people will always have faith that they exist. They're there for the simple fact that people wish for them to be so badly.
