Just curious anybody here ever play Maniac Mansion for NES? That game was pretty damn cool and a really hard game to beat. Its all about the classics

Man, that game is OLD! Although excellent, indeed. Unfortunately, I never beat it.

Yes, that game is extremely old. I never beat when i got till recently when i picked it up again on a rainy day. You ever put the hamster in the microwave and blow it up? You can do some pretty funny shit in that game.

Good game, but for vintage Lucasarts, I preferred Zak McKracken. Maniac Mansion 2 (Day of the Tentacle), though, was awesome.

Agreed. Hilarious as well, if I remember correctly.
By the way, maybe it's just because I'm not in the general section anymore, but it's good to see ya back.

No, you're right, I haven't been visiting much lately. Something about when the general discussion got archived just made me lose interest. You can't just play with a man's memories like that! I'M NOT YOUR GODDAMN GUINEA PIG!!!
But thanks. Good to see you too.

From the moment I got Zak to electrocute his own goldfish to death without any remorse, I knew I was onto a winner. The aeroplane bathroom antics were classic too.

AWESOME game, and while I DID beat it, I must admit that the only reason I was able to was 'cause I had a guide that told me the correct party combination (which 3 characters to use) and how to pass/what to do in every room.
