I'm really not expecting much out of Agent Carter, but I really like the character. Peggy is awesome so I'm definitely excited to see more of her.

Carter is a decent character, I enjoyed her performance in First Avenger and The Marvel One Shot she got but...I dont know I'm not excited to watch a full series about her.

I find it funny that Marvel has more faith in her character to be the first female lead in an MCU feature than say Miss Marvel, Spider-Woman (Marvel own the rights to her, not Sony), or the already established Black Widow.

When does AOS wrap up anyway? I havent watched it yet, but I might watch up until the events of the winter soilder take place, then watch it, then the rest.

Personally, I'm way more interested in Peggy's era of SHIELD, with Howard Stark and presumably Dum Dum Dugan as regular characters, than I am in the modern day version where nobody important ever shows up. I do think the two shows should be combined into one though, like maybe it should alternate between present day and the 50's sort of the way Arrow does with the island flashbacks.

- CHANNING TATUM GAMBIT Solo Film, APOCALYPSE Appearance Confirmed, AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Moving

AGENTS of S.H.I.E.L.D. Moves, Will Share a Slot with AGENT CARTER

ABC has revealed their new fall schedule and as some expected, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is moving up from its current 8pm timeslot to 9pm, most likely to get it away from CBS's ratings powerhouse NCIS.

ABC's second Marvel show, Agent Carter, will air in the same timeslot while S.H.I.E.L.D. goes on a mid-season hiatus, or what ABC Entertainment President Paul Lee calls a “split season.”

I'm not up on Agents of SHIELD/Peggy Carter One-Shot, so maybe someone can help me with this theory about a bridging plotline:
Agents of SHIELD Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
I gather there was a mystery blue man in a tube on a recent episode of Agents of SHIELD. If Agent Carter is set in the 50s, could this be some Area 54/UFO connective tissue between the shows? Hot money must be on the blue guy being a Kree. (Atlanteans in the mix, perhaps?).

Hmm, If I didn't have DVR I'd be upset with it conflicting with Supernatural.

Dammit, they had a nice thing going, I watch SHIELD at 8 and then I change the channel and watch Supernatural at 9.

Well I gotta tell ya, as much as I liked the season finale, there's no way SHIELD can win if they're gonna make me choose.
I guess it doesn't matter, I don't have a Nielsen box so it's not like I'm affecting the ratings of stuff I like whether I watch it or not. It's just annoying to have to catch up later.

- ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ Producers Answer Your Burning Finale Questions [SPOILERS]
- Loeb & Bell Unpack "Agents of SHIELD" Season Finale and Tease What's Next [SPOILERS]

It really sounds like if I didn't care before now, I'm not going to care moving forward. Which is kind of disappointing. It amazes me that a Marvel TV show could get through a whole season and produce almost nothing from any alternative source (other than occasional ties to the least interesting elements of other made-for-screen material). Which also keeps me feeling completely cynical about what Agent Carter is going to do with its TV time.

Based on those finale spoilers, I'm assuming this checks out.

- Hayley Atwell says Agent Carter series will be 8 episodes long

I'm going to hope a modest 8 episode runs forces them to get their skates on quick smart, and allow myself to be bitterly disappointed if/when that isn't the case. She isn't really the thing I'm excited to see and I suspect that's a stupid way to watch a show.

In true Marvel fashion, details on her role and how long she'll be sticking around are being kept under wraps. (Call off the Level 7 snipers now, please!)

Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 9/8c on ABC. Hit the comments below with your guesses on her character!

I just watched Agents of Shield from start to finish. Wow, I've never went from disliking a show so much to enjoying it so much, The end of the season finished pretty strong.

A few questions for people that have watched all of Season 1.

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
So, at the end when Coulson is writing that stuff on the wall, is he suffering from whatever Paxtons character was too? but keeping it secret and supressing it.

Also, Fitz..is he going to be brain damaged in season 2? feels like a cruel thing to do to a character whos greatest strength is his mind.

Also, I've became a little more positive about Agent Carter, I think it would be cool to see the formation of Shield and I think the season will cover "The Alien" arc.

- TV Vets MacLachlan and Simmons Join "Agents of SHIELD"

Season two of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." continues to take shape with two new cast additions announced on Thursday. Marvel.com has official word that Henry Simmons has been cast in the recurring role of "Alphonso 'Mack' Mackenzie," a "mechanic in his 30s" allied with Coulson (Clark Gregg)'s team. The character is based on Marvel Comics character Alphonso Mackenzie, a S.H.I.E.L.D. agent introduced by Bob Harras and Paul Neary in 1988's "Nick Fury vs. S.H.I.E.L.D." #3.

Additionally, Entertainment Weekly reports that Kyle MacLachlan has been cast in the key role of Skye (Chloe Bennet)'s father, though Marvel has yet to confirm.

- "Agents of SHIELD" Season Premiere to Introduce the Absorbing Man

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." will introduce another established Marvel Comics character in its second season: Crusher Creel -- better known as the Absorbing Man -- will be played by Brian Patrick Wade, as revealed Thursday on Marvel.com.

Though Marvel's announcement refers to the character by his civilian identity, it looks like his namesake powers are intact: "With his ability to absorb the properties of anything he touches, Creel will put Coulson and his team through their paces when their second season kicks off." The character will debut in the show's second season premiere next month, but Marvel has not specified if there's a plan for Wade to appear in more than one episode.

Trying not to get excited about inevitably disappointing TV version, but.. IT'S. ABSORBING MAN!!

Anybody watching the new stuff? I sat through most of the first episode, utterly bored out of my brain. It's still just such a criminally boring, superfluous TV show. Although, I did kinda laugh when:

Spoilers: (Highlight to reveal)
Xena makes a big drama of her buddy cutting her hand off so she'll survive weird mineral block -- only to (seemingly) die in a car crash mere moments later.

I've actually been enjoying the shows second season so far.

Fitz actually has pretty good chemistry with Mack, there scenes are probably my favourite so far.

It actually feels like a show about spies and espionage now instead of a show about a bunch of hacker nerds stuck on a plane like season 1 did.

Plus Fitz, Skye, and Ward have actual dimensions to their characters now. I particularly like the struggling-with-brain-damage thing they're doing with Fitz.

So they pretty much fixed my two biggest complaints with the show.

I'm still floored that they stuck to their guns with Ward and didn't pull some mind control bullshit. They did hedge their bets a little bit by finding a suitable Ward replacement to add to the team but Triplett is different enough that you don't really notice it. I also like Hunter's addition for the sake of a little diversity. A team composed entirely of S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel isn't really necessary now that Coulson is backed into a corner and needs all the help he can get.

I'm loving how ballsy the show has been since Winter Soldier and with Absorbing Man it looks like they've acknowledged their weaknesses in season 1 and are now giving the B-list villains a little more credibility. I have no complaints.

Eh, I think they're planning to take him down the typical Whedon Angel/Spike "bad guy who redeems himself 'cause he's in love with the lead female" road.

I'd rather see him in that cell doing the Hannibal Lecter thing as long as possible, personally.

Xena isn't actually dead right? You don't just bring Lucy Lawless in, and have her die in one episode, and you don't make a character cut there own hand off in order to survive and then kill them 30 seconds later, right?

Maybe but he killed a bunch of innocent people and forgiving that would clash hard with the tenets of the Marvel universe. The only reason Ward isn't in a real prison is because Coulson needs him and the situation is such that he really can't be put in one. If it were just about Ward turning traitor that would be one thing, but a series of murders isn't the type of thing that Marvel heroes could just sweep under the rug without looking like huge hypocrites, especially Coulson who's has justifiably been described as the heart of the team.

- Get Tactical With Your First Look at Mockingbird's Suit in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

See Bobbi Morse in her full tactical suit in next week's all-new episode of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." at 9:00 p.m. ET on ABC, and in the meantime stay tuned to Marvel.com for the latest on your favorite Agents and more from Marvel TV!

Kinda stunned they chose to release photos of a non-descript brunette before letting this out. It's really absurd for the show to still be holding its cards back after a dismal run to the finish with the first series.

Mockingbird's the perfect character for the series -- small enough to debut on the show and be an integral part of it, but strong enough to feature and potentially graduate to the big screen. She arguably should've been one of the first round draft picks. It's an overdue lifeline for comics fans and an injection -- hopefully -- of a broadly memorable character. Not something to be coy about.

Debuting an Avengers: Age of Ultron trailer during the show is a good use of resources, but only if it isn't a stark contrast of quality. So far - it is.
