Tried demo on PS3, the game doesn't run too well on this. Framerate on cutscenes was REALLY bad. I also wish they had improved on facial animations, these stiff dead faces really ruins these otherwise well directed scenes.

I noticed that too.

Graphical leaps are nothing without good facial animation. Fuck it, I'll love it anyway, I'm sure.

I would like to vent my frustration at not being able to unlock the Quarian Engineer or pretty much any character. I've purchased countless Recruit and Veteran Packs and...I always get crap.

These packs are just boxes filled with broken promises and dreams. Curse you monetary random unlock system!

Day one DLC? Don't care, buying anyway.

Sending the message to game publishers that what they're doing is okay. Awesome.

Wel now that you've made me feel bad, I won't. I can live without a new mission and squad member. In fact, after some thought, I think I'll just wait for the inevitable Bioware sale where it's $5 instead.

It doesn't really matter anyway. It's not like EA would ever change.

My biggest issue is that I don't want to pay 12 times what I paid for ME and ME2 for ME3.

I would pretty much blame it on EA, really.

I don't mean to sound like a band-wagoner , but I think most flupped up things happening with ME3 is their fault.

Same can be said for some of the silly things done in 2, I guess.

Maybe implementing multiplayer could be EA's fault, but day one DLC I'd hold the developer responsible for. I can't see the publisher saying "nope, sell it separately". They could have easily kept it from their eyes.

I really don't want to miss out though. If I wait, I'll be that much wiser with my money.

Consider me a convert, I hated the idea of multiplayer, and yet I'm addicted to ME3's multiplayer. Get a good set of friends with a variety of powers and suddenly you're yelling into your mics to have them chain biotics, rush towards spawn points, and regroup during the finales.

It really is! This is what's stunning me about this game is that I've wasted WAY too much time playing this stupid MP demo. I'm perfectly happy just playing the same two maps over and over again...that's nuts! I'm almost scared to see what will become of my personal life when I have a bunch of new maps and enemies....

I'm bothered about this day one DLC business model as well. It would appear that the justification from BioWare is that it's a way to provide normal edition ($60) customers a way to access some of the "free included" aspects of the collectors edition ($80). What's controversial though is that BioWare is claiming that "the team finished the DLC AFTER the regular game was complete in January" yet the DLC character in question could be found in the leaked script in November, implying that it was at least planned and discussed early during the regular game development.

I'm honestly mixed about this whole deal as I'm pretty big Mass Effect fan ( I too have played the ever loving bejesus out of the Demo). I understand the desire from BioWare to want to include some nice goodies for the Collector's Edition but I'm shocked that they didn't forsee this sort of community outcry.

I couldn't play the demo too much. I love Mass Effect, by I have a hate relationship with cutscenes after the first viewing. I should though to feel out the classes. I'm sure things changed a bit.

Have you been playing the multiplayer? I only ran through the single player campaign once on the demo.

Multiplayer requires Internet, which is in the living room where my mother insists on staying instead of her bedroom. There's a bed in there for fucks sake! I can't even update my games because she wants to sleep in the living room all damn day.

Can't wait to be out. So much online gaming I must do! Also, free range Internet.
