In one of the new video game mags for this month.(XBN I think) There is an awesome article featuring an artist who has buily an actual suit of armor perfectly resembling Master Chief's armor in Halo 2. You all must see this guy's skill! I mean geez laweez I was so amazed.

Right? It was absolutely shunned back then. Now I see it everywhere and it's basically the norm. John's armor is practically child's play now from the cosplay I've seen since.
