Matrix Box Set Details
Update: December release planned?
July 02, 2004 - UK retail giant HMV has a listing for The Matrix Ultimate Collection Box Set for £44.99, which translates into a hefty $82.50 US dollars.
We originally read the release date of 6-12-04 as meaning June until realizing that in Europe, they do dates as dd-mm-yy, which would give it a December 6 release date. Here's what they say is in the 10-disc set:

All-New transfer supervised by the Wachowskis and Director of Photography (DP), Bill Pope

Disc 10 sounds like a heap of crap. Surely they can fit "A Tour Of Matrix Design Concepts, Storyboards & Drawings" on one of the other nine damn discs.
For me it is not all worthed because I already have the 3 films, the animatrix and the extra scenes of reloaded that can be found in the game Enter the Matrix.
Just some additional info behind the scenes that I'll miss.
And there is no commentary from the brothers which would have made me change my mind on buying it.

When will they stop with all these ways to keep making money off of The Matrix? The movies aren't that great anyway, and no one wants to sit through (let alone spend that much money on it) just for storyboards, concept drawings, interviews, and commentaries. z:o
