This Christmas marks the 13th Year Anniversary for Mortal Kombat Online. It has been a wonderful journey and, as always, a memorable adventure. We would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this fantastic community and to all of those who have been a part of our world.

We wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas and a very Happy Holiday Season to our friends over at NetherRealm Studios and all of the MK fans around the globe!

I super <3 MK chibis!

And yes, that Sonya is too cute. I wish the NRS team released more stuff like this for MK. The chibis for MK:TE and all those fun random things on MKDA's Krypt are some of the best things they've done for simple and pure entertainment and amusement. Love that kind of MK humor.

Figured there would be a scorpion sub-zero christmas picture with the post. Wasn't expecting the sonya one until I realized who made the new post.

I presume I wasn't online then because I remember seeing only 87... Still, you'd expect to have the numbers higher than in 2004 because Mortal Kombat has gained more attention since Mortal Kombat: Deception with MK/DC, MK: Legacy and our game of the year 2011. Also, the Internet user rate has grown greatly during the past years. Blame the competitors.

Woah, stuff like that makes it even more clear how fast time has gone by. That pic has brought back some pretty sweet memories from back then.

And yeah, there was definitely around/over 100 during early and mid-year thanks to MK9. The forums were crazy active and MK9 along with MKL certainly helped to keep it that way.
