I kind of fell off with the series since MGS4. I thought the title "Solid" followed the journey of Solid Snake and not Big Boss. So I never got into all the games that followed Big Boss's journey since MGS3.

I did manage to play Ground Zeroes and even though it was a very short game, I thought the graphics were great, I'm still up in the air about getting the Phantom Pain. I was always under the impression that Big Boss was a bad guy, so playing as him never appealed to me.

I hope one day we get to see a re-make of the original Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2 games with todays technology so that they could re-tell the showdown between Solid Snake and Big Boss.

I always thought that Metal Gear Solid would be a great film to make, and Hugh Jackman would be a perfect casting choice for Solid Snake. Those are my thoughts on the franchise.

This is so insane I had to share it. The surgeon who declared he was going to do the first head transplant (or would it be a body transplant?) surgery could just be part of an elaborate MGSV hoax.

Either Kojima used this guy's likeness- which he has before with other characters- and this surgeon just had some astronomical coincidences in regards to similar names and associations, or this is the single greatest marketing campaign in human history.

- The hunt for closure in Metal Gear Solid 5 is its biggest fans' white whale

Various theories regarding the presence of some kind of additional content have been floating around the MetalGearSolid subreddit since the game's release, as dataminers have pored over every texture, audio file, and cutscene they can pull from the Steam version of the game. They eventually unearthed a fully voiced and animated cutscene featuring the decommission of nuclear warheads around the world. It was thought to be more evidence of cut content, until MGS community manager Robert Peeler not only confirmed its existence on the disc, but claimed that he'd be "impressed" if anyone had found it by normal means already. Data sleuths also allegedly found the presence of a 'Chapter Three: Peace' title card hidden in the game's textures, fanning the flames even further.

Read the full article. I want to believe.
