I'am just gonna ignore whatever the hell this was and say what I was gonna say.

Both series are two totally different fighting games so I'am just gonna say that they're both great games in there own way.

Well this is an MK forum, Im pretty damn sure majority of people will say Lui Kang, but just to piss 'em off, I'll say Ryu.

Street Fighter is an ok game. But MK is the best fighting game. Even though Liu Kang isnt my favorite character Ill pick him.

Both series are good in their own right, but I prefer SF over MK.

i think in terms of gameplay, street fighter wins hand down, but in terms of story and characters then mk wins. but both are great games.

Ryu,I enjoyed him in the arcades.

I never liked the Steet Fighter games. Always thought they were slow and boring. But I do like the Street Fighter anime and the comic that started recently.

But Mortal Kombat is the best on all fronts IMO.

Hah, thats funny, because there was a marathon on a few nights ago, with the steet fighter movie, then the two MK movies.

Over all, I would have to say.. Uh... I'm not sure...

I like both series. I find 2D series to be much faster paced overall, and I wish the skilled combo options in MK outweighed the chain options as they do in almost all of Capcom's fighters (save for the versus series) but then that seems like it's not going to happen anyhow...
