This past year being away at school, I picked up cooking. Managed to make tacos, steak, chicken. Created cupcakes and cookies... Now I'm dying to cook stuff.

I managed to make something called BLT Bites. This and my Chocolate Peanut Buttercup Cheesecake Cupcakes were gone within five minutes at my 4th of July party and I've been ordered to make more of them for the party.

I want to share an easy recipe for the BLT bites. You'll need -

16 cherry tomatoes
Parsley
Parmasian Cheese (or any kind of cheese)
Green onions
Bacon Bits
One-two garlic cloves - diced

What you do is cut the tops of the tomatoes and scoop out the insides, so it'll be a tomato bowl. Mix all of the remaining ingredients into a bowl and stir. Put the dip inside the tomatoes, and refrigerate for a few hours until serving time!

I got a lot more recipes to share, if this thread does well, I'll share more recipes for you all to try. So, got any?

I like coming up with tasty stuff in the kitchen.

I like making salmon pizza, chicken dishes... I'll share my specialty recipe down the line if the thread is still active when I find the time.

Best-Sandwich-Ever Sandwich

Toast two pieces of an english muffin.

Then cook two peices of bologna until they're almost crispy.

Cook an egg sunny-side up.

Add cream cheese to one of the bread slices and put them together. grin

Well I'm not much of a cook but I think I make some crazy stuff.

Chicken Patties

White Rice

Steamed vegetables.

Soy sauce (optional)

I love asian food but I can't cook worth crap. So I decided to mix it up with the microwavables. First of all I cook the rice (boil in a bag of course!!) it only takes about 10 minutes so if your really hungry this is a great thing to eat.

After I get the rice boiling I get the steamers (steamed vegetables in a bag that is microwavable!!! I know who knew?) they also take 10 minutes so it's basically a timer for my rice too.

After the rice and vegetables are done I put in a chicken patty. When it's done I cut it into little pieces and mix it with the rice and vegetables.

Blam I got my Asian food.

I'm a former cook/baker, and I absolutely love being creative in the kitchen.

Here are some of the things I love to make...

Marshmallow Chocolate Buttermilk Cake. I top it with marshmallows, nuts, chocolate chips and a thin, chocolate icing drizzle.

Buttermilk Pie (It's sweet, moist and kinda lemony custard pie.)

Caramel Apple Coffee Cake (or cheesecake), drizzled with caramel and topped with nuts. I also give each individual slice a dollop of whipped cream on top.

Tiramisu.

Lacy Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, with vanilla icing drizzled on top.

Peanut Butter, Chocolate and Caramel Brownies (I call them "PBCC Brownies.") I top them with chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, chocolate and caramel drizzle.

Red Velvet Cale, with cream cheese Frosting.

Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Fudge Brownies.

Banana Pudding Cake, with a toffee topping.

Slut Spaghetti (Yes, it's an actual dish.) It contains anchovies, capers, olives (green and black ones), mushrooms, crushed red pepper, onion, garlic and stewed tomatoes.

Shrimp Creole.

Potato and Leek Soup.

Spicy Garlic and Herb Chicken Wings.

Carrot Cake, with cream cheese frosting. Either that, or a buttermilk glaze.

Pad Thai.

Pancit.

Fried Rice.

Okra, Corn and Tomaotes, mixed with either sausage, chicken, shrimp or ground beef. I usually eat it over white rice.

Dirty Rice.

Etc....

Go buy a pack of frozen Nathan Fries or make your own I guess. Also Go buy a pack of Lipton Onion Soup Mix.

Put the fries on a pan.

Spread the Onion Soup Mix over the fries.

Put in oven for the time the bag of fries says to use (I believe it is between 18-20 minutes at 425 degrees)

nom nom nom on the result.

They can be taste pretty salty so if you hate the taste of something salty don't make them.

Buy a package of pork or beef chorizo.

Put in skillet on med-high heat and cook until brown and crispy. Pour off onto a plate with some paper towels below and on-top to soak up extra juice.

Scramble two or three eggs with milk and pour into skillet with leftover chorizo oils. Cook until firm, whilst scrambling, then add chorizo back into the eggs.

Stir as much as you like, and then a few sprinkles of cheese (pepperjack or colby) and cook until melted.

Pour delicious food into a tortilla or two, and you have delicious chorizo, egg, and cheese tacos!

Stuffed Green Bell Peppers --

INGREDIENTS
6 green bell peppers
salt to taste
1 pound ground beef
1/3 cup chopped onion
salt and pepper to taste
1 can whole peeled tomatoes (chopped)
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1/2 cup water
1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
2 cans condensed tomato soup
water as needed

DIRECTIONS
Get a large pot and boil salted water. Cut the tops of the peppers off, and remove the seeds. Cook the peppers in boiling water for 5 minutes and then drain. Take each pepper and sprinkle them with salt and then put them on the side.
In a large skillet, saute the beef and the onions for approx. 5 minutes, or until the beef is browned. Next, drain off the excess fat and season the meat with salt and pepper. What you want to do next is stir in the rice, the tomatoes , the half cup water and the Worcestershire sauce. Cover it and let it simmer for about fifteen minutes, or at least until the rice is tender enough to eat. Next, remove the skillet from the heat, and stir in the queso (cheese) lol.
Then, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and then. stuff each pepper with the ground beef and rice mixture, and place the bell peppers open side up in a baking pan/dish. Next In a medium sized bowl, add the tomato soup with enough water to make the soup a gravy consistency. Then pour it over the bell peppers.
Finally, bake while covered for approx. 30-40 mins or until desired heat is reached and the cheese is melted..

Nom Noms...lol

Got this recipe from a Howcast Youtube video, but I modified it a bit by replacing the cottage cheese-preserve mix with actual yogurt, or even peanut butter and jelly. smile

Skinsley Bolognaise

Set your Pasta on the Boil in Salted water with some Garlic powder to add that little bit of extra flavour to your pasta.

Fry your minced beef in a pan...when cooked add chopped tomatoes enough to dominate the dish as a sauce....tinned will do.
Dice whatever vegetables you can find.
Peppers, mushrooms etc Crush two cloves of garlic throw them in....add 1 TB Spoon of Chilli powder and mix

Leave on a low heat whilst you drain and plate up your pasta, ladle your Mince & sauce over the pasta and serve!!

Used to serve that up to colleagues and the disabled people I used to work for and it always went down a treat.

Slut Spaghetti?

Something simple and stupid delicious.

Put an undisclosed amount of peanut butter (I've never measured it as I made this stuff when I was like 10) and drizzle it with syrup. Make sure you at least cover the whole thing.

Microwave until you can see it melting and stir as much as possible.

Voila. We used to call it "Ghetto Caramel".

Promptly make sandwiches with it. Seriously, try this shit! If I buy some eanut Butter, I'll be sure to post a picture of what you should come out with.

I'd be lying if I said this was not the only photo I clicked.

I can make things like omelettes, bacon, toast, tacos, boneless chicken, burgers, macaroni and cheese, ravioli, pasta, and soup. But ... that's because those are like the only things I actually eat. Oh, cereal too. And ice.

Zmoke's Amazing Pea Soup
1) Open the lid of your pea soup can.
2) Carefully strike a hole to the bottom of the can with a knife.
3) Take a plate.
4) Blow to the hole so the chunk comes out to your plate nicely.
5) Take a fork.
6) Crush the chunk with the fork while pouring a little water on it until it looks almost like a soup. Don't mess.
7) Put the plate to the microwave oven for three minutes with maximum watts without the fork.
8) Wash the fork and knife, then change them to a spoon while preparing to your pea soup glory.
9) Bring the plate to a table after the microwave oven schedule has ended.
10) Stir the soup.
11) Eat it as it is or with a cup of a drink of your choice. Bread is optional.

Cake from Portal recipe

1 (18 1/4 ounce) package chocolate cake mix

1 (12 ounce) can coconut pecan frosting

3/4 cup vegetable oil

7 egg whites

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

3/4 cup butter or 3/4 cup margarine, melted

2/3 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups all-purpose flour

2/3 cup cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon baking powder

1/3 cup water

2 (12 ounce) cans vanilla frosting

8 maraschino cherries

Directions:
1This recipe is simple, it just takes a lot of ingredients and mixing/sitting around time to complete. Pop in a movie while making the cake to help pass the time.

2This recipe can easily be made for those who do not consume dairy by making sure the frosting and cake mix you use do not contain dairy. Which is easily done, I being dairy intolerant myself.

3And lastly, this cake is for fun. It is for the nerd in all of us that just wants to sit down with a bunch of friends, and eat. This cake is perfect for that. Heck, you could all bring food and call it a Lies and Deceit Pot Luck, and LAN your way through the meal!

4Warning to the wise: this cake is VERY rich. Don't cut it into eight slices, cut it into sixteen. Regular sized slices will just make people sick to their stomachs because of how rich this cake is. So do eat carefully.

5The night before, mix 2/3c cocoa powder with 1.5 cans of vanilla frosting. Save the remaining half can of vanilla frosting for later.

6Next day: remove mixed frosting and vanilla frosting from the fridge and set to the side. Also place the cherries and chocolate chips to the side. They will not be used until the cake is completely done.

7Pre-heat over to 375 degrees F.

8Lightly butter two 9 inch cake pans.

9In one bowl combine all remaining dry ingredients.

10In larger bowl, combine all liquid ingredients and egg whites. Mix thoroughly.

11Slowly sift dry ingredients into the large bowl of liquid ingredients. Mix thoroughly.

12Pour half of the batter into one prepared cake pan, and the rest into the second cake pan.

13Cook for 30+ minutes, until a knife can be removed cleanly from the cake.

14When done cooking, allow the cake to cool for at least one hour.

15Remove top quarter inch from one cake round. Basically, let it have a completely flat top so that the second layer can rest smoothly on top. I suggest using a bread knife.

16Use the coconut frosting as the inner layer.

17Place second layer on top of first layer.

18Frost with the cocoa powder mixed frosting. Warning: this stuff is stiff, so it takes a little work.

19Coat entire cake with chocolate chips, press them lightly into the frosting to get them to stay. The recipe suggests one cup, I would suggest just taking from the bag. Measurements are just suggestions for chocolate chips.

20Using the remaining vanilla frosting and a tablespoon, dallop eight circles around the top of the cake.

21Place the eight cherries on top of the eight vanilla frosting circles.

22Treat your friends to a meal of Lies and Deceit.

Alright!

Harle's freakin' delicious chicken burritos:

Ingredients
----------------
As much chicken breast as you would like
Seasoned Salt
Four limes
Two avocados(if you want more, buy one lime for every two avocados!)
Four roma tomatoes
A big white onion
Cilantro
a few jalapeno peppers(fresh)
Black beans
Sour cream
Shredded lettuce
Blend of shredded Mexican cheeses
Flour tortillas

Instructions: Cut up chicken into small strips(or buy this way in the first place), put in skillet with all the juice you can possibly squeeze out of one lime. No oil. Cook it, add seasoned salt to chicken as it cooks. Take the black beans, put them in a skillet with some oil, a little more than coating the pan, then get it hot and steamy and start mashing them. As the beans get mashed, add juice of one lime and a little seasoned salt. Constantly stir the beans on a medium high temperature the entire time the chicken cooks, also, keep mashing them.

Cut open avocados and take out the pits(make sure they are a little mushy when you squeeze them before you buy them), scoop out the insides and put them in a bowl with juice of one lime/couple teaspoons of salt/a little pepper. Mix/mash it all together until it's like mashed potatoes. Dice two roma tomatoes, a little onion, cilantro, and a jalapeno or two and mix them into the avocado as well. You've just made Harle's freakin' delicious guacamole.

Take the other lime's juice, the other two tomatoes(diced), the rest of the jalapenos, some more diced onion, and some cilantro and mix them all together in a bowl. You've got pico de guillo(spelling?).

When chicken is done, poor a little bit of the lime/chicken juices(icky but good) into the beans and continue to cook the beans until the moisture is gone. Put chicken, beans, guacamole, pico, lettuce, sour cream, cheese, etc... all on a flour tortilla and wrap it up. You've made Harle's freakin' delicious chicken burritos.
