Novel coming!

Amongst other cool mods here, pred, m0s, skins, -jago-, myself included we try and not get worked up over trivial stuff. I very much like it here, I don't see any other site being as unique in a sense where you can come here, get news, meet cool people, create sigs, go into chat, post w/e in general discussion etc. And have that be enough to keep coming back.

Now, I'm not saying MKO, is the only site to bare these attributes. But one of the few that allow newcomers and people devoted to want to keep coming back. There's some sites where a few dozen people will register on a MK site happy as can be and never come back again. MKO is very fortunate to have dedicated members who support the forums, samus_aran3900 being one of the more dedicated members keeping the site updated in news leads.

I do my best as a Mod to stay literal in my doings and trying to keep a steady community. I may not be in the highest of power, but i very much enjoy my job and coming here to talk to you, the community.

So to answer your question, yes MKO is the best there is period.

As for MKU, I hate that site, bunch of boosted ego's being boasted there. Yea, the community has a great array of people who are good at fighting games, but don't let the success rate get to your head. I used to go there but found myself going less and less. The only people who go there who are respected by me is Check. He's doing stuff no other player can do. He don't talk a big game, he acts a big game. That's what its all about. And he does it well. As for MKU in general, some of the mods they got there are a joke. Half of the people on staff are ones who were banned from previous sites... Go figure. But they do have some cool cats there who I've met from MKO that have my respect. MKU is not a place for the average fan to be imho. That site is for HC Gaming egos.

We don't skull you because of a PM. If you act up on the forums and a mod sees the behavior coming from you is immature, you generally receive a warning to chill out. Then if you continue then you get a skull. But theres those situations where you use abusive profanity in a manner that is beyond a warning so the punishment of your violation increases depending on you. It could range from 1 skull to 5, a week ban to indefinitely. Some MODS here give you a skull right away, I generally like to PM you and ask you to chill out first. Just a habit of mine.

I have to admit SEGAmaniac7, when you first came here I was skeptical about you. You were making lots of threads using to many emoticons. I didn't think you would last. But you proved me wrong, you have made a nice change and your presence here is very much welcomed. Nice job.

P.S. MKU's favorite reason to b**tch about a loss, is to blame it on someone elses LAG.

I was wondering if someone was going to complain about those spammy PMs. I got a few, myself. I consider things like that to be a reason not to join another site. Besides, I only post in General Discussion. So MK isnt even the reason I still post now and then.

I was ask to join that website today from some random person. I didn't because it's just some sad person who want people join some crappy website.

MKO is great website and I have met some great people. SEGAmaniac7 is right. MKO is best.

MKO has a good hospitable community, not like some website where you get a three page lecture over a grammatical error. And the users have some intellegance as well which makes for some good debates.

Yea MKU is a pretty funny site. The original site started as a MK site to have banned protesters from MKO start a refuge and discriminate mko's Staff because of our "Code of Conduct." They called this site a GHOST TOWN. Which is pretty funny because MKO has never been closed down at all. And the members that are at MKU went through 3 different sites that all had the same opinion about mko, the first one Mortal Kombat Armageddon Central? (MKAC) closed because the guy didn't want to pay for it anymore. Then JTF from here who got banned hosted a site Mortal Kombat Central?(MKC) where he quit because his community backfired on him. And now MKU lol. That crew of people are beyond fail. All those people traveled in packs through the course of the 3 site era.

I will admit I joined MKU recently. but MKO is still what the Tagline says: The Ultimate MK Experience.

but i think it is funny how you beg for forgiveness from the site after you betray it and post this(which is full of false accusations, i might add) on MKU.

no first i made a thread saying does storms hate me and this mod gave me this negative point because i " insulted a mod" so i sent him a message dissing the hell out of him and 5 minuites later i got banned. mku is gay, they think there frikin cool just cause there mods

So you ask a mod who is trying to help you why he hates you, then you flame a mod and don't expect to be banned...I don't think you could get away with that on MKO either..

Hmm thanks for that. F'MKO? lol 75 dragon points a waste of life? Look at it as military rank bud, every cause has an effect. Thats like asking to get paid to sit around at work all day and do nothing. lol. And 75 dp's isn't nothing at all, you are after all sitting around doing nothing except providing useful info or art request for members. Easy stuff.

well it is true i hate the dragon point system, i olny went on mku so i could request a sig and 2 avatars i dont care about dragon points at all oh and how much does it cost to buy this site?

From now on, if you need a sig or avy just ask me through PM. I don't have a problem taking request, but i also ask when you request from me wait a 3 or 4 weeks before requesting again. Not a day to day deal. Is that cool?

the sigs were for the CIA not me and they had to be from mku so the CIA could use them for inspection and how much does this site cost????

OK, a lit... lot off topic. I already told ya you could ask me for some sigs I wouldn't mind making you some. But as for MKO it's not for sale. If you mean how much does it cost to have a site like this of your own and run it yourself? That all depends on the bandwith deal you make with the Host.

on mko? lets see first it was mk_forever and how much is this site worth?

and even then there are usually monthly costs.
