Hey guys, I've been playing guitar for a little over 5 years now, and it's become a huge passion of mine. I've made tons of covers and some original music, and I put out a free acoustic instrumental EP a while back that you can get here:

I'm constantly working with great vocalists on different covers and whatnot, and those usually get posted on my youtube channel:

Also, I've been producing hip hop for close to a year now, and have gotten extremely positive feedback on my beats via Youtube, Soundcloud, and Facebook. I put out a free 25 track beat tape a few months ago that you can download here:

I'm planning on releasing a 17 track tape in September via Bandcamp for $1...but it will be free for Twitter followers (@Bizarro_Beats), and those who like my Facebook page:

My influences include J Dilla, Madlib, 9th Wonder, Dr. Dre, Kanye West, and more. I've also been collaborating with some unsigned MC's and will eventually put out some sort of collection of people rapping over my beats, so stay tuned.

There was a thread similar to this going a week or two ago, but it didn't really get off the ground much... Either way, I'll be back later with some music perhaps, and to listen through the music already posted.

I too am a (plenty times declared) musician!

I'm at a point where I write songs for me and anyone asking, a producer of Hip-Hop beats and I'm now dabbling in D&B/House and R&B.

Currently I'm only writing songs/raps and producing D&B/House as my Hip-Hop beats have become less than stellar imo.

Check me out! When it's all said and done, iHeart Jaydolf, Sweet 16's, Awesome Bystander and Death & Hoes will be available for download.

Definitely. I find that Soundcloud is the best site for that, it allows other people to make timed comments on your tracks, and when they 'follow' you, they're instantly notified when you upload a new track. It's essentially a music based social network.

Singing and piano for me, as well... Though mostly as a hobby, I'm practicing a mini-collection of songs to perform in bars and a nearby arts district... Should be fun.

As for composing, I do it with the most ridiculously expensive synthesizer ever(broke the bank on that one, hehe...), it's the most realistic collection of samples I've heard so far, so it was definitely worth it. I write mostly jazzy-heavy percussion-piano pieces, usually accompanied by a bassoon, vibes, strings, and the like. Started writing music on the piano six years go, most of which really sucked until about three years ago(though those are pretty weak compared to recent work as well...)... I don't have proper recording equipment yet, so any playing I do in the songs is through a series of wires attached to the ass of my piano... Still fun though, heh... There's still much to improve on, but my brain is hard wired for learning creative processes quickly, and that's ALL it's good for, real life be damned.

Please read below before you click this link!

This is a midi composition of one of my songs. Originally, it was made using guitar/bass powertab voices, but my brother converted it to organ voice because... I don't know. He was bored?

Anyway, It was not written for organ, so some rhythms (particularly the lower notes) will sound strange. Also, not everything translated right when he converted the sound, so keep that in mind. Also, some parts will be repetitive due to the absence of lyrics. Also, I'm an insecure musician, so please judge this piece for what it is, which is a rough draft made from midi.

Oh, and if you do choose to listen to the piece, listen to it in its entirety. I don't think the first two minutes best represent the song's atmosphere as a whole. Also, I put a lot of work into that solo.

My band Cassette Bat has some acoustic demos up purely for feedback. We've been putting together full songs lately. I do the writing, singing, and guitars.
