I recently jumped on the Xbox and Xbox live bandwagon and I must say that so far I am satisfyied with the system and the online play. I have always wanted to play a Street Fighter game against another opponent since I don't make it out to the arcades anymore.

The first thing I realized about playing Capcom vs SNK 2 online is that there are great players out there. Thats what I wanted. I want to play the best to better myself and so far that is working to a degree. My problem lies with many gamers that I have faced since I got it. I love to fight, win or lose. You may beat me ten times, even twenty times and thats all gravy to me. I enjoy to play. But just when I happen to win I think that the gamers should give me my props and let me take a win but that is not the case. Most cases I have come across gamers breaking the connection before the result screen, taking my win away from me. I really think that is lame and doesn't make you a good fighter, just a cheap one.

Please keep in mind that I am not directing this to anyone in particular. Anyone that knows Capcom vs SNK 2 on live, knows what I am talking about.

I expect that if you get a win off of me, then when I do happen to beat you, that you give me my win. Don't be babies and just take a defeat and try to beat me next game.

I welcome anyone that wants to challenge me in this game. My Xbox live gamer tag is SubZero187 and if you are GRADE A, bring it. Let me learn off of you. But please don't abandon the gaming session.

Please your feedback would be most appreciated! Thanks!

Good post. I never bought that one since I have the PS2 version, and I figured the best of the best out there would cream me.

The best in the best are good to learn off of. I had previously played the game for the Sega DreamCast and moving to the Xbox was a big change for me.

I have already picked up some moves and have been utilizing them and winning. So its all good. Thank you for your response.

Same with me, I already got SVC2 for my PS2. I would like to play online, but id rather buy a new games than buy the same game for a different system.

It happens in tons of 1-on-1 situations. I've seen people play sports games online, and when they get far enough behind on points, they disconnect. The problem can be solved if a penalty is given to the player who disconnects on purpose (as opposed to pining out, or getting cut off), such as adding a loss to his/her record.

But yes, there are some great CvS2 players online. Unfortunately, most peeps I've seen use the more unbalanced characters (like Sagat and blanka) to gain the upper hand by using cheesy keep aways...

I know what you mean. I am useless against Blanka pretty much with everyone. And Sagat is a tough one as well. Thanks for your responses guys.

Or, they could do like Yahoo does (I think), and ask the other player if the forfeit is acceptable, and if it isn't, add a loss.

well a reasonable solution is to end the game as is and record the data before the disconnection as the final score... I'm using more logic than technical knowledge here...

Recording the data does nothing to alter your online ranking. It keeps track of wins/losses...
