I love to write fan fiction, for Mortal Kombat and Tomb Raider. I'll write one about Tomb Raider and copy/paste my MK stories in this topic. The Caves. It was a freezing morning in the Puruvian Mountains and atop a mountain, two people were studing a large doorway with carvings above it. Looking for an entrance, one of the explorers throw a rope up to the markings for closer inspection. As she climbed up, she noticed that one of the markings was actually a switch. Her curiosity taking the better of her, she pressed it and the large oorway below her slowly opened. Inside was completely drak and the second explorer took a second to adjust to the darkness after the blinding whiteness of the thick, soft snow. straining his eyes, he saw something shining inside, atually quite a few things glowing and they were moving fast. Before the explorer had time to react, several wolves began to attack him. The comotion alerted the woman who had pulled the switch. She pulled out a small knife from her boot and sliced the rope. As she fell her cloak flew off adn floated above her. Her long brunette hair unraveled beind her beautiful face. She was dressed in a turquoise leotard and weraing a pair of brown shorts. she drew two pistols from a holster across her belt and began to fire, she was highly skilled at shooting. It wasn't long before the wolves were down but it felt like a lifetime. As she knelt beside her friend, she checked his pulse. It was too late, he was dead. But the woman wasn't going to back down from this challenge. She ventured inside the cave and the doors slammed shut behind her. The womans name was Lara Croft, an english explorer, who prefered to be out on dangerous adventures than in the company of the sufficating stuffiness of high class British society. She had developed her thirst for adventure at the age of 16 when she acomponied her mentor, Werner Von Croy, to Cambodia. And adventure she would never forget. She has now been hired by a Miss Jaqueline Natla to recover an age old artefact of mystical powers, supposedly buried in the unfound Tomb of Qualepec, an ancient ruler of the legendary Atlantis. Lara didn't know what she was getting herself into but she knew, there was no way, she was handing something as dangerous as the Scion to a lunatic like Natla. She had been thinking of the most recent events in her life, not even noticing that she had dodged several darts that hd shot from the walls. She snapped out of her trance, relising that furhter day dreaming would get her killed. After getting rid of some pesky bats and and wolves, she found a large chamber, with two bridges running across the room. It was freezing but she kept moving. as she searched the room, she noticed some carvings on the floor and a skeleton that seemed to be mumified to a steak. It was very eery and appeared to be merely an object to frighten raiders. But it didn't frighten Lara, she knew she could handle any onbstacle that this adventure threw at her. She kept on moving and after having a close encounter with a ferocious bear she found a chamber about the size of her ballroom back home. A row of dart shooters lay on either side, ready to destroy any intruder who dare cross their path. When Lara had found the switch to entrance to the City of Vilcabamba, she dashed for the door, jumping and rooling to avoid the darts. One dart came so close to her, it ripped one of her laces. She would have to be very careful as she ventured throughout Vilcabamba in her search for the Scion....
