While I'm not gonna sit here and type up a review about the movie itself, its more or less the blu ray version of it.

I want to get into this issue first and that my friends is the IMAX scenes that were filmed for this movie. If I was watching this in a imax movie theatre i am sure this would be fine but that's not the case. When you start the movie it starts out fine but the very first scene is the imax scene so instead of staying in scope it goes to flat or w.e ratio that is used for IMAX movies. Now this wouldn't be bad if the movie stayed in imax the entire way cause the picture is OMG freaken awesome but once it goes back to scope you can tell a big difference not only in ratio but the picture itself looks better in imax then the rest of the movie when there aren't any imax scenes.Theres also no control of the imax scenes so the ratio of the picture flip flops a bit during the movie and sometimes it can get annoying and other times you don't notice it cause either A:the scene is dark or B:it only happens for 2-4 seconds or sometimes less.So I wish there was a option to watch the movie without those imax scenes included but there isn't but that doesn't hurt the movie and if you can live with it its no big deal i guess.

I haven't gone to far into the other options of the movie.Theres some cool stuff that you can pull up during the movie and watch it about those scenes and thats a pretty neat feature I guess. There's also the live commentary where I guess from what I understand,is that you can record yourself doing it live while watching the movie. How this works I don't fully understand yet but I am thinking about trying to do it later and will give my opinion on that feature at that time.

The other thing I will talk about right now is the case.
Now on blu ray you get 3 disk in one case.first two is the movie and other for special features and other is the digital copy of the movie. One thing I didn't like about the case is that is so tight together I can never tell if both disks are fully locked in place with the way they have it set up.These are of course minor complaints and should not turn you away from this version if it was the one you were planning on getting.Just a heads up to let you know what to expect.

Audio seems to be exact from the theatre experience and nothing seems to be left out in the transfer over.

So this isn't a review of the movie itself but just the blu ray copy of it.With that in mind I'm giving this a 7.5 out of 10 cause I don't think we should have been forced to watch that imax scenes and it should have been optional to watch during the movie. That and the packaging in my opinion could have been a little bit better cause I don't like taking a chance of disk slipping out of place when I am not sure if their locked in or not.I'll go into detail about the live BD stuff later when I get the chance and time to or if someone else has already please feel free to talk about it.Any questions ask away and I will do my best to answer them.

I have the Blu-Ray version too, and I don't see any problem with it. You can't falt the disk for something the dirctor did. The dvd is the same way, as is the digital copy. It's the way the movie was shot. If anything it proves more hd movies should be filmed entierly in the IMAX format.

From what I understand on the dvd copy of the movie the IMAX scenes are only included as extras so it doesn't go in and out of frame on dvd .And I know for certain this movie was not totally shot in imax either just those certain scenes, but I agree that movies should to be filmed in that format as the picture is amazing.

I'll admit at first it was abit weird but after awhile i just stopped noticing and just went back to loving the film. And the picture is amazing, i really want to see the film on dvd to see how different they are and one of my friends has the same step up as mine, minus a ps3 but xbox over hdmi to same tv so it'll be interesting to see.

Also got Chocolate on blu-ray which is great and always full screen. From the same people who did ong-bak and warrior king. Not quite as good as them but once you watch tony jaa do the things he does its almost like taking a step backwards. But still an enjoyable film.

Yeah, I saw the film 3 months ago at the San Diego Asian Film Festival and I thought it was a decent action-flick. And yes, it's not as great as Ong-bak but it's worth watching.

I was disappointed in the extras, but it's not like they're alone in that department, these days. The Gotham Tonight specials are great, but it's sorely lacking, particularly in comic-related features.

No matter how boring Nolan might be, I'd love to hear someone talking about the feature on a commentary track, too.
