which do you think will be better? or which do you prefer?
Personally I've always been a 2K fan, but with the new control scheme idk how it will feel (using the analong stick to shoot?)... and 2KSports lost the ESPN license, although I doubt that will effect commentary or presentation since the games have always been up to snuff pre-ESPN

Anyways, here's the tale of tape (from what ik so far):

NBA2K6

Jaybe's FACE Vs. My foot... wearing a timberland boot...

yea my foot wins Im a size 11
Yea its going to be a hard choice for me since im a huge 2K fan.

I loved both ESPN games because the graphics are much better, presentation is more authentic and the gameplay is more realistic, e.g reggie miller would hit an open three 90% of the time unlike in NBA live were if he is open he'll hit it like 50%, what bullshit!

But since their not putting in many new features and NBA live 06 looks really good with the freestyle superstars, im gonna give it a go and see what happens, it may be still a little more arcade style which i hate but that doesnt mean it wont be fun.

Cant wait to start my Celtics dynasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know which one I'm gunna lean towards gettin' this season yet. After the past 2 years, I've gone with the 2K series, because the gameplay, to me, seem better and so were the graphics, but they have always been better, anyway. But I was reading up on Live and I like the fact that they brought back the "superstar team runner" aspect of it. The superstar player(s) can run the team and help build his teams momentum and bring them together and take the team to victory. I like tey brought it back from the waaay earlier Live games.

I'm probably leaning towards NBA Live 2006, because I bought a pre-owned copy of NBA Live 05 at EBGames a few weeks ago, and loved the All-Star Weekend feature to death, plus, I bought that game to kinda get a feel for NBA Live 06 before it came out. I can't wait to wipe the floor with the opposing team's asses with Tim Duncan (luring double-teams inside), Tony Parker (piercing my way into the paint), Bruce Bowen (to STOP people from scoring), Manu Ginobili (just going CRAZY), Robert "Big Shot Bob/Rob" Horry (clutch shooting), Brent Barry (3-point shooting), Nick Van Exel (to help Tony Parker should he be hurt or in foul trouble), and Michael Finley (as back-up for Manu Ginobili and/or Brent Barry, as well as helping Bruce Bowen when he can't make stops at critical moments).

Come on people, join.

Holla atcha boy.
I have read a couple of reviews and i think im still going to go with Live 06 even though gamespot gave it 7.7.

It still looks like a fun game, and the freestyle supertars is the best reason alone to purchase this hoops gamewink
