Make sure you have the actual CD. Because The Xbox can't read CD-R's.

You have to have the actual CD OR burn the song on a CD-RW.

guess what my xbox reads CDR's. i don't know how, but i might be because its a new model or something. i thought the same thing, so i tryed it anyway, and it worked.

it might be what kind of cd-r you use. memorex's seem to work fine in everything that i've tried compared to other kinds.

P.O.D is good. ive always found that techno or fast paced music works well with the games i play. especially CS. long scores like those from films (matrix, MK, etc) are very cool because they last long and add a certain suspence to your gaming experience. but yea id go with P.O.D or Disturbed. if u want older stuff then im sure u know Rob Zombie/ White Zombie, RATM, etc...

try the trews(not ready to go) , high holy days, three days grace (home), incubus (megalomaniac).P.O.D (alive), transplants (diamonds and guns) , Linkin Park ( numb, faint etc etc) , metallica (St anger) and many many more that I'm too lazy to write.
