In the simplest terms, yes.

75 Dragon Points, I believe will get you to the next rank in the system. This keeps repeating until you are chosen to be a Portal Guard (moderator), in which Dragon Points don't affect you. Read the Community FAQ for more info. Welcome to MKO by the way!

Question, do you have to have a certain amount of visits or a certain rank to become a sub-mod?

I'm not a mod of course, so I wouldn't know for sure, but I assume that because the visits system is weird and gets stuck sometimes, visits cannot be a requirement for anything. As for ranks, I don't think you have to be ranked to become a mod. Sure, most mods were ranked highly before they got the job, but there shouldn't be a definite requirement for that. All you'd have to do is work hard for the community and prove to the mods that you have what it takes.

It doesn't have much to do with rank or visits. I was a Warrior when I was promoted to SP and I think at the time I had around 3500-4000 visits. It's about quality, not quantity.

[Killswitch] was promoted straight from Mortal to SP today, so that's proof right there that ranks do not matter.

I've been around on this site forever, and have never liked the SP rank.
I've found that way too many posts gets DP's without warrant, and very few SP, though that's a good thing and probably accurate.

I always saw that it was quite biased and almost like a popularity thing...at least that's what I noticed 2+ years ago before i went on hiatus from this site.

75 DP? Damn it, I only have around 20-30 DP so far
