I don't know, but something is telling me that they're good.

Not looking forward to another potential Steelers win, but I'm indifferent to both teams.
As for hockey being the best sport, I couldn't agree more. (Football, however, holds a special place in my heart).

The only thing I hate about the Steelers is their fans. Well, some of them. No offense, you definitely aren't part of that hate. I wouldn't mind if the Steelers won, but I've already told people I think the Packers will win, so I'm rooting for the Packers.

I hope the Packers destroy them! No offense to the Steelers fan. I'm just over them always winning. It's boring. I'm not excited about the Super Bowl at all. Two teams that have won plenty of times, yea!! (though I'd love seeing the Steelers getting their asses handed to them)

everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i was saying the same thing about the Patriots when they kept going to the Super Bowl. I'm from Connecticut and I HATE them. Even before they won the Super Bowls. I've hated them since they lied about moving to CT, so i understand why people can hate to see Pitt go to the Super Bowl again, but there is no greater feeling than watching your favorite sports team win the Super Bowl. theres just nothing like it.
I have to admit though that i am very nervous about this game. The Packers are gonna be much harder than the friggin Seahawks or Cardinals were in the last two super bowl games with Pitt. I am in no way going to say Pitt will win despite how much confidence i have in them. The last time these teams played there was like 6 lead changes in the last 8 min of the game. It went back and fourth and the steelers won with no time left on a pass by big Ben.
Just because you dont like the teams doesnt mean you shouldnt be excited for the game. any true fan of the sport would look at this matchup and think WOW what a great Super Bowl!

Honestly, the Bears looked like they didn't even try, and when they had the chance to possibly tie it at the very end, what happens? Interception and that's it.
That last fucking time out they used, I believed, had cost them the chance to tie it at the end. Why would you waste that time out? All of the calls were against the Bears, and using that challenge even after a ref literally called "incomplete" during that one play was awful. Seriously, this was not the team that I saw when they made it into this series. No, this was last year's Bears.
I'm going to be rooting for the Steelers because I hate the Packers as much as I hate the Faketriots. I've always hated the Packers.
The only thing that I am hoping that happens next year is that Levy is fired from coaching for the Bears. He's a ridiculous coach, doesn't know anything. I want him gone. And, despite that I am a Cubs fan, I thought it was nothing but an insult when I heard Fox News reporters claiming that Bears fans are like Cubs fans ."Maybe next year." No, like I said, even though that I am a Cubs fan, at least the Bears can make it into playoffs and shit like that without some sort of issues that magically pops up.
Although, I've been hearing that the Cubs might be the team in the next two years because of who they have down in the minors. It could happen. But all I can say is that I'm going to root for the Steelers and just cannot wait for baseball season to happen now since the Bears are no more for this season.
Perfect...

Anybody.
But.
The.
Steelers.
I wouldn't have cared if the Jets lost to the Colts, or the Pats. Honest. Seriously, ANYBODY BUT THE FUCKING STEELERS.
I despise the Steelers more than I despise baseball. That's saying a lot. Guarantee we get a repeat of XL and XLIII. The Steelers will win due to crooked officiating and I'll excommunicate football from my life as well.
Meh, let's go Rangers.
P.S. The Steelers punter deserves a fucking Oscar for that flop and a half that extended a third quarter drive. I know full well that the drive ended in an INT, but the Jets certainly get much better field position starting out if not for the penalty that never should have been. Maybe that drive would have ended in points.

Cubs fan...man, I guess that makes us mortal enemies because I'm StL Cards all the way!! Haha.
And yeah, totally agree about the Steelers. They've just been very Super Bowl prone the past decade.

Well then by your logic, you should have been excited to watch the Patriots in their Super Bowl appearances, as they were an amazing team at the time. But you clearly weren't.
And the Steelers have won as many Super Bowls that the Patriots have appeared in (and the only ones they've won are the ones from their dynasty) so why people are more tired of the Patriots than the Steelers is beyond me (especially with a rapist as their star player). The Patriots haven't done anything noteworthy in six years (besides lose in 2008).
This is the Steelers third appearance and possible win in five years. I'm sorry, but that's boring. I don't care if they're a good team. They've been there plenty of times. I wanna see someone else play....

Did I say I wasn't excited? I didn't say whether I was excited or not, (I don't think at least, I kinda can't go back to my post right now and look) and guess what? I am excited! Would you be excited if the Super Bowl was, say, New England and Green Bay?
I consider Connecticut pseudo-New England when it comes to sports. It's different than Massachusetts (where the teams are located) and a place like here (Maine).
Oh, and trust me, I know it's great when your team wins a Super Bowl. I had the privilege of seeing it happen 3 times in 4 years. I also know what its like to have your favorite team win the World Series (twice in my lifetime) and the NBA Finals (once in my lifetime, and the most overall). EDIT:

Pats fan or Cowboys fan, Hooky?

Pats. New England born and raised. I liked the Cowboys when I was younger, specifically Emmitt Smith was my favorite player.

Lol, if any of the previous posts were directed at me (which they could have not been at all) I want to clarify that when I said I "agree about the Steelers" I was agreeing with whoever said that they are stale.
If not, then disregard this post haha.

I couldn't cheer for anyone, I disliked both teams, despite that I was going to root for the Steelers. When yesterday came about, I was more concerned about my dad's ribs and chili to come out rather than the game.
Although I couldn't stop laughing when Rothesburger had both index fingers up in the air and my brother's screaming at the TV, "I'm raping two tonight!!!" Let's all be proud that a rapist did NOT get a championship.
That and the Black Eyed Peas basically were labeled as the worst band to perform for the superbowl... Their stage had broken lights, Fergie's singing made Christina's National Anthem looked amazing, Will.I.Am's off-scripted singing... I couldn't believe that Slash and Usher made a surprised appearance despite that the song that Slash played the guitar for was the one song he hates the most.
Honestly, this year's superbowl fucking sucked. At least we had decent commercials. Hey, did any state get a surprised five second showing of a porno like they did last year?

Blahh Super Bowl. Yay Packers.
Maybe next year we'll have a super exciting rivalry going.

No half time show was worse than McCartney. The god damned cock sucking smug mother fucker and his god awful music. Yes the BEPs were bad, but they looked cool being bad. They were better than McCartney, Price, Rolling stones, and most of the others we've had since Janet's nip slip of doom.
