Great. But I think Calgary's time has run out. They surprized a lot of people making it as far as the have, but there is no way they can go through 4 straight 100 point teams, when they finished with 94 points this season.

Kabal20 suggested this idea and I think it's pretty good. After the finals end. I'll put up the finalists for the NHL awards. Anyone interested can predict the winner. My question, do you guys want those results added to the current standings, or should everyone go back to zero. Give some feedback.

I'm with you icecold....I'm a Flyers fan too, I feel your pain. We were so close...it's frustrating really. But the good thing about being a Flyers fan is that you are ALWAYS behind your team..not because they are doing good, just because they ARE the Flyers.

Most people are fans of their team not the NHL so most people probably arent even watching the SC finals which hurts the NHLs TV ratings...rumors are that the NHL wont be back next year...I hope it isnt true.

Your absolutely right. I'm a fan of hockey in general. I'd rather if the Flyers were in the Finals, but I'll still watch it. Hopefully the CBA can be fixed and there will be hockey next year.

With the awards thing, if enough people want to do it, I'll make a seperate game. So as it stands either Blade or Kabal will claim the NHL Pick'em championship.

I'm a Flyers fan too IceColdFire and this year was a big disappointment...making it so far then losing in a close Game 7. It's still frustrating but now we know we got beat by the best. I REALLY hope the NHL will be with us this coming season..I love hockey.

hockeys cool but youve gotta admit that all the shit expanison teams theyve placed on us the last few years is a big reason why junk has gone down,like minnesota, atlanta,nashville, columbus,and i think one other team, thats when i felt hockey the shitter, also you have all these retarded trades and impatience with hockey coaches, which some dont realize that it takes more than 2 or 3 yrs to win a championship no matter wat team you have, i mean good coaches get fired regularly cus they didnt win a stanley cup, there are 29 or some shit like that other teams out there going for the same prize, hockey just needs help, basketball needs to make the age limit,at least one yr in college (im sick of all these from highschool bastards who after lebron all suck) and the nfl needs to cut the limit to 2 years in college (not including redshirt)and baseball is all right but they need to sanction there shit, if they werent 50 yrs bend every other sport there would be no roid scandal right now,so wat ever. im glad tama won the cup however cus i dont like canada...jp

I agree with you, the expansion teams that they added really brought game down. I think the only expansion team on your list that has a good amount of true fans is Minnesota. Even Tampa, they had to basically give tickets away in the finals. I hope one day about five or six teams of these new expansion teams get contracted.

Anyways, the expansion teams...I agree with both of you, IF there is a season next year, aren't they adding 2 more?? I think/thought the plan was every 2 years add 2 teams for the next 6 years or so..I know there is 2 more teams coming soon..
