I started playing it again recently now I'm up to chapter 11. Damn those electric worms were hard as hell! This game is great, I love it. A must have.


I got my latest Game Informer issue and there is a little interview with the head leader of Tecmo's Team Ninja and here it is (not word for word, I don't have the article next to me at the moment):


Game Informer: "Many players have complained that Ninja Gaiden is too hard. What do you have to say about this?"

Developer: "That's just Team Ninja's style. We do whatever we want. Take it or leave it."


Game Informer: "Have you played MK:Deception? what are your thoughts on this fighting game?"

Developer: "I have not seen it, or played it. But generally speaking, American made games have poor quality in motion. They have to pay more attention to how a character walks."




----I say bleh... American made games have pretty damn good quality if you ask me. There is also a picture of this guy, he looks like a freakin zombie.

The leader of Team Ninja is Tomunabu Itagaki. As for the game itself, I've beaten it on all the difficulties, I have both the plasma sword and the plasma sword MKII, I have the Evil Ryu outfit, the new title screen, and the whole Ninja Gaiden Trilogy unlocked. Plus, I beet Alma on all the difficulties without using any elixers. Alma's first form is the hardest boss fight in the game. Everyone else is pretty easy, except the Fiend Lord in chapter 15.

I have has this game for a few months and its a great game,but I could never beat that fucking Fiend King.So I completely gave up on it

He is so fucking hard with his fireball attacks and his little ugly pink guys helping him out while he's fighting you.He is impossible

Does anyone have a good strategy on how to beat this faggot?

All the other strategies Ive sed sucked horribly

He's pretty easy with the Unlaboard Flawlessness (Wooden sword level 7) as it is very very very powerful, I just keep getting him with that weapon with the X,Y,X,X,X,X attack. Plus its counter hit on the pink dudes is a 1-hit kill, so they ain't a problem

all I use is the Dragon sword and the upgraded nunchuks

You should always upgrade all of your weapons. As for the Fiend Overlord, use the Art of Inazuma ninpo when there are more atleast two of the pink fiends. Since it's a homing ninpo it will easily take them out, and give you life or essence. When you dodge the Overlords spin dive, use your Art of Ice Storm to do some serious damage. All of your ninpo spells should be upgraded to lvl 3. Do this and he isn't that hard.

Yeah but using Nimpo reduces your Karma loads resulting in a shit overall score. It's upto you. He's pretty easy without it, just memorise his attacks

Im trying to unlock the NES NG.I was wondering do all of those Scarabs I give that old guy still count?Because you need 50 Scarabs to unlock NES.

Also Im on the Mosterary Level with the weird looking Church.Anything I need to look out for?

I only upgraded the dragon sword and the nunchuks all the way and that huge ass sword once.

I try to use both of the ninpo but the King Fiend always blocks it when I try to hit him

Don't worry about hitting him with Inuzama, that's just to take out the lesser fiends and even the field. PLus they will restore your karma and life if you keep unloading on them. After the Fiend Overlord comes crashing down on you and is on his knee, that's when you use Ice storm. You can also get some shots in with the Flying Swallow dive. Plus, getting Master Ninja on that Level is really easy. There's so many bad guys that you can play the level for four hours, have no ninpo and still get Master Ninja on kills alone.

Thanks Smoke for the advice.The only real trouble I have is with the pink people attacking me while i try to go after the King.It gets real annoying killing them instead of hiiting the boss and when I do hit the pink people the boss comes in and fucks me up.

I finally bought this two days ago (payday woohoo). I love every bit of it so far. I'm on the 6th chapter now. Some parts were a little hard, but its not really hard(so far) like alot of people have said.

To get Ninja Gaiden 3, once you have the second, it's in the Passitvie passageway (something like that) in the Auqaduct

Thanks,I hate those undead Skelitons on the Monstertary(UnderGround Cememtary).I made it off of the Elevator but there are 2 Skelitons there with Bow Arrows.I ran out of Ninpo I only have 2 Ninpo spots.Is there anyway I can upgrade to more Ninpo?I did once but I never figured out how to do it again.

If you have the bow and arrow, and it's fully stocked, you can get past the skeleton archers with three shots each. As for the ninpo, I don't think you can get more yet.

Yeah, there is going to be a sequal forsure. NG1 ended so it can be carried on perfectly. We all know that Ayane works for Murai, so does that mean shes going to be a boss in the 2nd?

Also, the game sold excellent almost everywhere. So i'd say a sequal is certain

I wonder if Ninja Gaiden 2 will be based on the NES game a little... Ryu's father is alive in this one as stated at the end of the first level when he talks to Mirai, so will his father die/get taken like in the NES game and they can build off of that, I mean the NES game has like five levels, there is a lot more that can be done to make it better, but I mean the main basis for the story...

Make sure you have your Dragon Sword at its highest level, and your Armlet of the Sun equipted (Increases attack power by 20%)

If you stay away from her, you can dodge every attack she does by either rolling out of the way or jumping (This takes a lil' practise though)

Once she has either done the move where she does the flying headbutt at you, or tried grabbing you but has just missed; You then do a foward jump and press Y (Cant remember the name). This is a really powerful move and completely stops her moving for about 5 solid seconds.

During those 5 seconds, do the X,Y,X,X,X,X attack. As soon as you have done that run away asap because she will grab you.

If done correctly you can beat her without even getting hit with ease.

Just make sure you go over this a few times and practise the different dodges for each of her moves.

Well,I dont think that Ayane knew that Murai was evil because I think that Murai turned evil because he saw an oppurtunity to gain the power of the Dragon Blade.I doubt Ayane is evil,but who knows,she could eventually be the boss in NG2 anyway
