WOW! Does this mean that the GBA is living on borrowed time? The spec sheet looks interesting too. I bet Nintendo and Sony were a bit worried when Nokia released it's NGage.

Wow, the DS does look impressive. Too bad whatever little money I have will be spent on Halo 2
From what I've read, the DS and the GBA will be sold to 2 separate markets. In other words, they expect both of 'em to coexist and be just as successful as the other one.

"The DS has slightly more processing power than the Nintendo 64 console released in 1996."
Omfg, that's fucking awesome.
Also the touch screen. :')
I totally see it now. "Nintendo DS Linux!".
I already know the Bluetooth is going to be hacked.
It's been done on virtually any bluetooth device.

Oh you know that once this baby hit's the stores and people have spent enough time with it, it's gonna be hacked like on one's business. I can see it now A DS with Window's XP or yes.... even Linux!
Expect to see these types of hacks and mods on Screen Savers with Kevin giving his insights on it.

virtual boy, i mean DS looks kinda gay on the top screen, it looks useless almost.
i mean, think about it, look how wide the top of the unit is, then look at the screen, there is about a inch of space or more on each side, why not just make the screen on the top wider, so you can better see the games, and then keep the screen on the bottom, which looks to be the perfect size, the same?
there are no speackers on the left or right of the top screen, if one on each where there the top would look less, well, make the screen seem larger.
but i dont really understand this large top, cover the whol unit, great, but the screen looks to samll when it is done, y not put speakers one the left and right to make it seem less small, or anything, a logo, and such.
not being a jerk, just being reminded of the cheap portable dvd player with the 3 or so inch screen selling over a year ago for $199, with losy picture quality.
well when a close up of the screen on the top is released and something to give an idea of how it looks, i will make my final jugment.

If the screen top screen was wider, the buttons would hit it when closed. Use your eyes.

I'm using XP portably from a Coffee shop in Minneapolis. It is the most laptop friendly OS released to date.
