Im going with the PSP, I really like the look and the games that will be on it.

Definately Nintendo DS, i'm a huge Mario freak. I simply cant wait to play Super Mario 64x4 and Super Mario Bros.

I wouldnt be suprised if they remake alot of nintendo games on the DS. I'm looking forward to this. Imagine playing the original super smash bros on it.

the DS will prob only have n64 remakes, just like the GBA had snes remakes, and nes remakes in 16 bit graphics

psp- will most likely be ports of existing ps1 or ps2 games, maybe an original spinofff.

ill just get the next xbox a year or so after its released, and thats it.

prob have a plam pilot by then tho.

I will not buy either one. If I were to buy one it would be the PSP.

DS is a waste of LCDs and PsP is going to have a Twisted Metal title!!!! Go with the Psp if it isn't expensive

Say what?! Damn. Guess I'm going to have to get both now. I was just going to get the DS for Metroid Prime : Hunters, but a new Twisted Metal? Can't pass that up.

I am definetely getting Nintendo DS because of GBA backward compatibility, and also it is cart based system which means it will be hacked eventually Sony PSP, on the other hand, looks good and but it is a closed system, you cant even rip your dvd's and play on it. By the way, why should I watch a dvd movie on a small ass screen than my big screen tv with surround sound. Anyway, I am just against Sony's policy where you have to buy their own brand of movies, music, etc. As far as I know, PSP wont even play mp3s', Sony will be using their own music format, name of which I cannot remember on top of my head now. But like I said, I have very high hopes for Nintendo DS which will have more unique games than PSP which will have crappy ps2 ports. Peace Out

the ds is for christmas cause i hear it is coming it on november (world wide i think)

and the psp for my birthday next yr cause its in augest and the psp comes out in march 2005

I'm happy with my N-Gage, and before you all say "N gage sucks, and its shit...." how many of you can play Tony Hawk and Tomb Raider in 3d on their portable console?

Of the two, I'd have to go with the DS. For the first time in nearly 20 years, Nintendo is finally doing something new, and it almost has my interest.

Meanwhile, the PSP has a library of games from overrated franchises (Twisted Metal, Metal Gear to name a couple) or games that are otherwise uninteresting (to me).

I'll defintely be buying the DS! Dark_Noob and cartmansp basically gave the same reasons as I would have for why I'm getting it!

I'm 4sure getting the Nintendo DS, it looks amazing. The Mario, Donkey Kong etc games are great on handheld systems. So yeah, Nintendo DS for me!

If I had to pick it would DS.Nintendo is pretty good when it comes to Portables.
