I havent heard too much about the KOF games that were at E3.But U heard that KOF:MI has smooth gameplay.Like I said many times before I hope it dosent turn into SFEX3.I have the SF Anniversary edition too look foward to!

Yes, I've heard that it is quote "One of the smoothest 3D fighters I've played" (or something to that effect.) I haven't heard any negative things about it, so here's hoping that it turns out to be what people are hyping it up to be...as long as Mai (actually alread seen her, so I know she's confirmed ) Kim, King, and Billy Kane are playble characters I'll be a very happy man. three of my other most played characters have already returned in the forms of: Leona, Ralph, and Kyo. So I am really looking forward to this game....However I am anticipating MKD more so.

I was going to buy an Xbox just to play MK:Deception but if this game is really good I might buy a PS2 instead.

Sorry about that.I got confused with the other KOF game coming to Xbox and PS2.

You never know.SNK is a little weird when it comes to marketing there games.One minute they say a game is coming out for a system then the next minute they say it's only on another system.Like what they did with SNK Vs Capcom:Chaos for PS2.They said it was coming out Febuary 11th in the US for PS2 but it was the Jap release date.I hope they won't change there mind when September 28th comes...

Well damn, that doesn't sound good for SVC, I certainly hope that changes.

It didnt really come as a surprise though.Alot of people say SVC isn't that good of a fighter.You still have Metal Slug 3 to look foward too though.I played the demo and it's a classic.

I remember playing this game a couple of years back. The only fighter I can remember is Terry Bogard which was one of my favorites. Heard that the game will ship this Fall 04.

I enjoyed KOF games specially in the arcade, i forgot which one i played though in this one mexican arcade and it was pretty good. Im not very good with the whole combos stuff, I suck. Anyways i seen some screens of it at gamespot, and im a little dissapointed. Mai looks really ugly IMO. Anyways i hope it turns out good at the end.

Ironic although I'm a big Street Fighter fan, I consider this a great game. I used to play KOF at my friends house and he always creamed me with dude sporting a red and white hat. Anyways this game is coming out near november and I'm uncertain if I'll buy it.

No problem...KOF is a tournament that supposedly takes place every year, there has been one almost every year since 94 or 95. I combines characters from the Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting Series, as well as some completely original characters. The mainstay of the Fatal Fury series that are usually included are: Terry Bogard, Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, Mai Shiranui, Billy Cane, and Kim Kaphwan. From Art of Fighting the regulars are usually Robert, Ryo, Yuri, King And Sometimes Yuri and Ryo's Dad. Can't remember his name. They Gameplay itself is very cool, it has all the standards: Cool Specials, Spectacular Supers and so on, You usually pic three people to a team...you can either pic the teams they have preselected ie..Terry, Joe, Andy - Ryo, Robert, Yuri...or you can choose to edit your own team...My personal favorites are either King, Mai, and Kim...Or Blue Mary, Billy Cane, and Robert. The have dash moves and Taunts, and if you press a certain two buttons together the fighter will Dodge projectiles by Karwheeling or simply stepping out the way for a second. The Graphis, for a 2D game, have always been great. I cannot wait to see this game in 3D!! BTW Thanks for posting the Pic of Mai! She's my "Sonya" of that series. Hope this helped a bit.

Yeah shes my favorite character of KOF. In Capcom vs SNK games i always pick Morrigan or Cammy. Those two kick ass. Also i heard a while ago that there was going to be a double pack for KOF 2000/2001. Did it ever get released? Because now there is going to be a 2002 and 2003 double pack. Im definately getting the new one and i was planning on picking up the previous one aswell but i dont know if it actually came out.

i almost forgot. there is a new trailer of KOF maximum impact. They show some gameplay footage. Its over at www.gametrailers.com. I saw it and it actually looks pretty good. It reminds me of Street Fighter EX3. The new chick with the yellow jump suit looks pretty awesome, she looks like Nina from tekken in a way.

I'll have to check that out, but I really hope it is not like SF EX, I mean it wasn't the worst game, but it definitely falls short of being one of the better titles. I don't know when the release for the combo is, but DRFATALITY might know.
