RE: Official Comic Collector Spot

I myself am probably the strangest of comic readers.I'm not a life long reader.Hell, for years i always said"I can't stand reading".But then i saw "The Dark Knight" Having only remember some sour memories of batman begins(which after a second viewing years later,i love),i was more than surprised about how much i loved it.Then i got arkham asylum months after.I noticed the names of the voice actors mentioned on the back of the case, then i remember there was a great batman cartoon from my child hood(B:TAS) so i got arkham city many months later(on release day)and had a blast, was surprised about how much i liked the side mission's,got 100%,read all the databases, and still wanted more, thank you wikipedia,i then went to learn about all the (Male, sorry guys) Robins, azrael, bane, etc, but was most intrigued about nightwing, watched some Arkham city nightwing and robin gameplay videos, and bought them. Now i then start watching a bunch of animated batman films, then i learned they were all off of Comic stories.I read some old 90's Marvel comics that were just lying around(all part of multi issue stories, without any of the other issues).I start reading comic book reviews, then i start thinking about reading comics. Then in the month of March 2012 Me,An 18 guy goes a get his first comic book(s),BATMAN! #1-#7(except #2 which they were all out of at the time). The new 52 seemed like the perfect time,i was really enjoying the books(read them all on day one!).Then something happened, addiction,You know what some people say about getting tattoos, how it's ADDICTING? well that's how i feel about comics. Then i picked up Nightwing 1-8(except for 3&4 which weren't there). So some months go by then i pick up batman and robin, which was supposed to be 10-12 but 10 wasn't there,(i'm yet to read that arc actually). So yeah, after all this time i still feel pretty noobish(pun not intended)about my comic knowledge, would i pick up more series,HELL YEAH!,unfortunately i don't have any room or funds to pick up much more.I am glad to say though that i have gotten the long halloween, dark victory and the killing joke.I Also have a couple of star wars Graphic Novels. The Dark Empire trilogy and The Thrawn Trilogy. That's my collection, except for this one day when my mom happened to stop at the comic store and pick me up a few comics, just for the hell of it i guess.Batman Dark Knight #1.Batman Arkham Unhinged #1 and Arkham unhinged #5.Well this is my collection of comics,i've pretty much got all of the issues that were missing, except for the issue of nightwing with batgirl on the cover, and B&R 10.Maybe a bit too much Info?
Thanks to Minion for the Sig!

A bit more DC in that one, appropriate for the times. [Wasn't my idea to cover Injustice, mind you. Not that I objected, either.] If I remember right, DD #27 (1967) is one of (if not the) oldest original printings I own, so that's a bit of fun. Might be something a few years earlier, or a 50s issue somewhere around here. Comics: good for the soul.

Wow you guys have a lot of cool stuff!
Mine does not even scratch what you all have but I list of what I've got (I have a bad camera so maybe I'll take pictures using my PSV one of these days and post them here)

Marvel:
Captain America Hoodie
Captain America tshirt w/C.A. Tin box
Captain America Button/Pin
Captain America PS3 game (like it but I just hate the low frame rate)

Avengers Poster
Avengers Bluray movie (Target edition)
Avengers Tshirt with Captain America, Ironman and Hulk
Avengers pocket notebook+Pen (from my paternal 1/2 bro's birthday last OCtober, one of those gift bags)
Avengers stickers on my PS3

Amazing Spiderman PS3 (Really fun just hate that it's short and not much to do when you beat the game but I like the stan Lee addon lol)
Spiderman 1-3 Bluray
Amazing SPiderman bluray disc (really I don't own it but my lil 1/2 bro let me borrow it since he has BR+DVD and he does not own a PS3 so he let me keep bluray for time being(I live in AZ and he in CA) and uses PS3 only when my cousin uses it)
Amazing Spiderman Hoodie (probably my all-time favorite piece of comic clothing)
amazing Spiderman long sleeve shirt
Amazing SPiderman Poster
Marvel Encyclopedia (sametime gotten for 21st bday with Nightwing LYcomic)
Xmen First Class bluray

DC Stuff:
Batman Lego 1 PSP/V downloaded game
Batman TAS season 1 and 3
Batman pencil art T-shirt
Batman Arkham city GOTY PS3
Batman Arkham City GI (gameinformer) Poster
Batman Battle for the Cowl graphic novel (primarily got it cuz Nightwing was on it and turn out it was an awesome read lol)
Dark Knight trilogy Bluray (1-2 steelcase, 3 standard. didn't like the steelcase for 3 and the exclusive documentary was not what I expected)
Torn pages from a GI magazine of Scorpion and Batman put together from MK vs DC and pasted to my wall tongue
Nightwing The Lost Year graphic novel (my 1st ever actual comic book-got it for bday present last year with Marvel encyclopedia in Vegas)
N52 Nightwing Vol1:Traps and Trapeezes (most likely my first start collection of current Nightwing reads)
Nightwing Crest t-shirt (the one with the Blue Bird from TAS and young Justice)
Nightwing Full T-shirt (Says Nightwing in Yellow lettering and has full body picture of Grayson)
Young Justice T-shirt based off season 1

that's...about it I believe. I'll try to see if I can get photos on this post so that you own't think im BS'g...even with my list I doubt it compared to all of yours hahaha

I've gotta say, my collection isn't very impressive.
Some old GLs, Batmans, and 1986--> Superman, as well as (my favorite) a good bunch off BIONICLE Comics.
Yes. Bionicle Comics.
On top of that, I have all of the Blackest night series, whch is my favorite comic book series to date.
Though, that could be getting ready to change...

In a pretty awesome sounding twist, Mega Man and Sonic the Hedgehog will be together in a new crossover comic titled "Worlds Collide", which will be a 3-Arc story over their collaborative 3 comic sets.

Just some videos I made yesterday when I went to pick up some new comics.

Lost World of Wonders:
http://youtu.be/D8KlfqXbP-E

Collectors Edge:
http://youtu.be/29L6km2SrLs

And some comics I picked up today. The top 3 are Paperback copies. Not individual stand alone issues.

I figured this thread was suited here since this is comic related.

Got an order in the mail a week or so ago.

- Green Goblin # 1 - 13 (entire run)
- Green Lantern vol. 3 # 0 - 3

Small set of pick ups today. Just a few that I wanted to get before purchasing my puppy while still having enough for it.

- Larfleeze #2
- Uncanny Avengers #1 (Skottie Young variant / Baby variant)
- Wolverine In The Flesh (one shot)
- Guardians Of The Galaxy # 5

I'm loving the Larfleeze comics. Can't wait for the next one.
