I am taking it upon myself to start a new wrestling thread. So all you wrestling fans that posted on the old thread, come one come all!!.

Admin Edit: General day-to-day pro wrestling conversation. For substantial stand-alone topics (ie; video game releases, major events) feel encouraged to start a new thread. Smaller topics may be redirected to this superthread by a forum moderator.

You guys act like if the old posts won't ever return. When in fact they will. So I seriously don't see the point of making same topics.

No offense man but if there needed to be a new wrestling thread then i would have waited and let Blade make it since he did make the first official wrestling thread... just to be fair and all...

Thanks for thinkin of me boss, and I like ur new avatar by the way.

Actually, the only reason I didn't re-start my wrestling thread was I was waiting for an answer from a Mod I had PM'ed. I asked him if I should start a new one, or wait for the old ones to come back. He hasn't gotten back to me yet, but I guess it doesn't matter now lol.

MKGeek, keep us updated! I usually just check the good dirt sheet sites and post the news here, good luck!

Here are the match listings for SmackDown! this thursday...

Brock Lesnar Vs Hardcore Holly

Danny Basham Vs Scotty 2 Hotty

Chavo Guerrero Vs Funaki

Rey Mysterio/Billy Kidman/Ultimo Dragon Vs Akio/Sakoda/Tagiri

John Cena Vs A-Train

Paul Heyman Vs Eddie Guerrero with Eddie's hands handcuffed

Spoilers Below.....

SmackDown! looks like a very good show. The Brock Lesnar/Austin segment and the WGTT/APA segments both look pretty funny(if you read the spoilers). And it looks like a WWE Tag team title match will be added to WrestleMania afterall.

Sounds good,They should have made Paul Heyman be the one with handcuffs and with soap in his mouth. For some reason Paul Heyman annoys me I think it's his voice.

I'll leave the updating to whoever, I don't like the dirt sheet sites, I never really pay attention to them, I just read them for something to do, I'm one to just wait and see what happens.

We don't require an "official wrestling thread" necessarily. If people want to discuss various wrestling topics they're more than welcomed to create topics. To cram it all into a single thread is confusing and messy.

I hate to argue with a Mod, but my wrestling thread on the 'archived forum' had over 600 posts. Also, there were tons and tons of wrestling threads until I made mine, then there were hardly any other then mine. If anything, I cleaned up the board.

First off, ignore my moderator status. If you have a point to make, make it. The only time it can ever backfire on you is if you're a jerk about it and rudely retort. Your response was civil and well though out, therefore you can (and should) argue away.

Now, you make a valid point. My only issue is the fact that when it comes to any thread, I feel that people should have a clear idea of specifically what they're going to be discussing within a thread. So if someone has something in particular they want to discuss, other people will know that's what they want to discuss and those who wish to participate will do so.

In the case of an official wrestling thread, the topic at hand would be unclear to other users and those who may wish to discuss something else wrestling related will have trouble doing so because any two users will lack the liberty to discuss any two topics simultaneously without creating a jumbled mess within the thread.

I got ya, but I updated mine every day or two, and when I updated I changed the title to something like 'Official wrestling thread, updated 3/2/04, The Rocks Return, Raw overview, more' and it ran pretty smooth. Go have a look if you can access the old forum, it should still be on the first page.

It's no big deal really, I know those bigger threads take up bandwith. Plus with Wrestlemania next week I wouldn't be surprised to see a few more wrestling threads pop up. grin

Hey blade-tsung, how about if the moderators close my(this)thread, and you open another one like the old one and we get 600 posts again?? I think if there's one single thread like before nobody will get confused.

It's no biggie really, as you see some people can't read and have already started a Wrestlemania thread. Tho I knew that would happen no matter what ;)

Seriously I don't care, I was just saying if this is gonna be your thread, you would have to be the one to update it and all. Post the news and such, cause you're the one who will get the credit ya know. No biggie really, whatever u wanna do is cool, I can't wait for Wrestlemania tho!!!

Here's a little bit of news/info I thought I'd post:

credit to twnp news:

In what may be an error, the Pengrowth Saddle Dome in Calgary, Alberta has Bill Goldberg advertised for it's April 19th Live Event's show of WWE Raw. Here is what they have posted on their website:

Catch all the action and all the excitement of World Wrestling Entertainment when it makes its way to CAlgary. The following Superstars are schedules to appear: Triple H, Chris Benoit, Goldberg, Ric Flair, Kane, Chris Jericho, Shawn Michaels, Randy Orton, Bubba Ray Dudley, Scott Steiner, Test, Booker T, Rob Van Dam, Christian, Spike Dudley, Rico, Lance Storm, Stacy Keibler, Lita, Trish Stratus, Victoria, plus General Manager Eric Bischoff and Sheriff Stone Cold Steve Austin and many more! (Card subject to change).

*Note it says card subject to change and this is probably just an error on the part of the arena, but it is still an interesting tidbit that they have this posted so far in advance.

HBK! *spits on the ground* That guy has had enough legit opportunities to win a title and he, to his credit has made good on several of em. But Benoit has been due for years. The one day title he had in WCW doesn't mean a thing cause he was leavin anyways. He would have a great run as champ and it should be a long one as well.

I swear if he doesn't win, it'll be just like what happened with Ricky Steamboat back in the day with WWF. He could win an Intercontenental title, but would Vince give him a chance at the Heavyweight championship? Noooooooooooooo!! The man had to go to NWA/WCW to gain the respect he deserved in legendary matches with Flair.

I like Benoit as much as the next guy, and I won't be too pissed if he wins, he's for sure due. But HBK has always been my favorite, I mean, he's the best, EVER!!!

I guess as long as HHH loses, I'll be happy, but honestly, HHH will probably not lose :(

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN!!! *snoring loudly*

That's what I think about the match! The Rock comes back for a month or two to hype his remake of Walking Tall. Then he leaves to shoot Spy Hunter for 3.5 months. Then he comes back 3 months later to do the same thing again.

Really, his wrestling career as a full time wrestler is over. He's a part timer now and now a full time actor.

On Raw this Monday Night, the Rock is going to do an 'It's your life Mick Foley' segment. If you recall, when Mick did this angle for the Rock a few years ago, it was great and one of the highest rated segments on Raw in the last few years.

Oh, and GD, you know I do!! *He's just a sexy boy, sexxxxyyy boyyyy, I'm not your boy toy, boyyyyy toyyyy* ;)
