So the trailer for Pacific Rim dropped today. I don't know if it'll be good or not, but it's got giant mechs fighting monsters that look like they stepped out of Ultraman, and that's got to count for something, right?

Trailer for giant monster movie
Obligatory 'Yes that was Ellen Mclain/GlaDos you just heard'

Yeah, this literally looks like an anime come to life. I'm gonna keep this movie on my radar. Looks like it will be fun.

Rim always remids me of rim job now. Like that one game that sounded like angels giving each other rim jobs that everyone was really into last year.

The fact that they have GLaDOS from Portal as the launch computer is also a nice plus.

That looks like its fun. Not to be taken too seriously, cheeky.
I love Mecha vs Monster animes like Voltron, Mazinger, Duke Fleed, etc. so this looks like it'll be fun.

Im just surprised at the amount of CGI considering its Guillermo Del Toro.

It's funny Charlie Hunnam has gone from getting a rim job in Queer as Folk to getting a Pacific Rim....... I'm immature. wink
I was made aware of this movie when that Viral video 'Kaiju Attack' came out.
Originally I thought it was Cloverfield 2. I like the idea of this one more though.
Aren't Kaiju monsters like Mothra, Godzilla and Gigan? Or is that just the term used for giant monsters?
I got a Gigan vibe from the monster that destroys the bridge.
Anyways it looks awesome! Yay for GLaDOS' voice!

It's not Michael Bay... I guess it might have a chance.
