PS3 turned on by itself..

Just got done playing Uncharted 2.. Turned off my Ps3, walked upstairs... and I heard beep.. I was like "ehh" went back down stairs to find that my PS3 decided to turn itself back on... WTF... cool story ehh..

Kinda freaked me out alittle bit because I live alone. And nothing could have pressed the on button on the ps3 or controller

Mine do that all the time. theres 3 in my house, it seems to be the PS3 slims though. My 60GB never ever has done it.

Maybe conflicting bluetooth cellphone signals in the near vicinity? that sthe only thing I can think of.
Your PS3 wanted you to play more Uncharted 2. tongue

this is my fat 40 gig though.... its never done this before today.... i guess some other electronics could of produced some kind of signal that the ps3 picked up... but i dunno really weird... only one ps3 in my house too

My tv turns on by itself but most likely the ps3 didn't get enough of uncharted.

I recommend a standard 8 hours your ps3 will be just fine.

That or ZOMBIES!!!!

well, killzone 3 comes out tomorrow... so my PS3 will have to learn how to turn it self off now... i guess thats easier than turning itself on though... haha ya get it??! haha yea you got it.confused

Perhaps you held the button down too long when you turned it off, making switch to H.D. mode. After the 30 seconds passed without you confirming you could see the H.D. signal, it switched back to SD which is when you saw it.
