PS3 Yellow Light Of Death (Help)

okay guys...

today my PS3 fell into to the hands of "The Yellow Light Of Death.... (as lucky as i am it all happened while i was playing MK so that means my disc is stuck in there.... grrr) anyways....

the thing is i haven't made a backup of all the datas so my question is...

is it possible to take my HDD and put it into another PS3 without data loss to make a backup??

lol the same thing kinda happend to me.... my bro fixed it though he just took the top off the ps3 and removed all the dust and now it works again....

sucky part is that psn is still down....

But anyways try something like that hope this kinda helps latez!!!
