question for those who have gauged piercings

well i have two six gauged holes and i just got my new pyrex 4 gauged double flares the problem is that the flare is like a two gauge around and i cant get it through i put two eights in(one hole) at once im going to see if that helps stretch so i can put em in see if i can get em through ill try again in the morning if not ill leave them in till it heals again and then try ..... does anyone here have advice? the flares is mm only problem they are flared out on both sides
