I would have to judge the movie when I see it.

Correct me if I'm wrong here Ghal, but last I checked the Ashford's had little to nothing to do with Racoon City, besides the fact that Ashford owned the Masion in the original RE(game)? I didn't beat Code Veronica, but I do know enough to know(wow that sounds weird) that Ashford's daughter couldn't really be in Racoon City.

Other than that, you know how I feel about the movie and Paul Anderson's directing...Movies aside I still consider Resident Evil one of the most sound game series I've ever played, with vitually no plot holes, and my personal favorite gaming series.

and ur right SOS, the Ashfords had nothing to do with Racoon City, and the thing that pisses me off is that Ashford has a daughter in the movies, in CV he had a twin sister named Alexia and she experimented on herself in Antartica... then the whole story of Wesker coming to find the virus takes place...

Yeah that's what I was aluding too. Just wanted to know that I wasn't going crazy or was confusing charecters from the games....Speaking of the games, I've got the sudden craving for RE0; I'll be back in a fewwink.

WTF? Ashford's daughter in Apocalypse? Correct me if Iam wrong but the only Ashford I know about was from the first RE game and then his son/daughter in Code Veronica. They have nothing to do w/Raccoon City at all. Iam still gonna see the movie cause Iam 1 of the few that actually did like the 1st movie. Here's hoping the movie looks decent. I just wish the NEMESIS was a little bit bigger.

After reading the review i noticed that alot of the review seems to me that it isnt a real review of the movie. It was not written by MR.D of bloody-disgusting.com if you look and see by where it saids who wrote the review it saids by a fan.So there for i dunno if i would trust the review or not....For all i know the review could be complete bullshit...IMO.

You all do realize that lack of accuracy about the games' plot does not make the movie bad? Remember Mortal Kombat? I love that movie, most MK fans, if not all seem to like it, but lord knows it wasn't accurate in hundreds of ways.

Why does everybody want the Movie to be the exact storyline of the Game. So Ashford had nothin to do with Raccoon city, in this movie think of Ashford as just a name. I think that the movie is gonna rock despite the fact that it's not the exact translation of the game. Who cares? RE is my fave series, and with the kinds of graphics it has now... Who needs a movie to translate the game? I think that the movie of the game translation would be worse than an original movie and DEFINITELY worse experience than the game itself.

I know exactly what u all mean, and I to like an original storyline in a movie rather than a game plot remake, however my beef with them doing it on this particular movie is that they set it up with Jill Valentine, Nemesis and the rest to be set up exactly like RE3 but with a completely different plot thats what bothers me... if they where gonna do this with an original plot then i wish they would make it like be in between time lines or something... but then again its hard to argue because im a big DB fan and half of the DBZ movies didnt go along with the series...

The biggest complaint the movie of RE got was that it didn't have enough connections to the RE games and that the video game characters should have been in it. Well, that's fixed, and, once again, people aren't satisfied. Now they're in it too much. Team Silent's "Silent Hill" movie will, probably, be the first good and 100% accurate game-to-film adaption. You know why? It's an independent story FROM the guys who did the games. Thank God. RE:A should still be a good action movie, though, and that's what I'm expecting. Fatality.
