I've had nothing but shit this year. I've had my money cut and unpaid for about nine months out of the past twelve and i've had serious depression going on. The sooner it's over, the better.

I'm planning to get really drunk and make the same resolutions i never stick to but try anyway. Quit smoking, start exercising, get out more etc etc.

2013 wasn't a good year for me.


the main highlight of this blunderful year was my grandmother's passing in such a premature manner. She was only 64 years of age & the last time I spoke to her was in may of 2009. & my credit turned to absolute sludge whuch results in me having to fix that as soon as possible. Finally, my computer has been acting stupid due to an uncurable virus on it which will most likely require me to having to completely format the whole system, losing all of my files in the process.


so......yeah....hopefully, 2014 could be a better year, or worse.

Roger Ebert died.
Edna Krabapple died. (Marcia Wallace)
Paul Walker died.
George Zimmerman was acquitted.
Jean Stapleton died.
Margaret Thatcher died.
Tom Clancy died.

And hundreds of thousands of other people all around the world, not even famous enough to be named, died as well.


Other than the constant reminder of the Grim Reaper, there are some pretty cool things that happened this year:

1. I started college this year, and I've already finished three semesters.
2. Pokémon X and Y was released this year, marking a new era in the nearly 20 year-old franchise.
3. I found the glory that is Tom Hiddleston. lol
4. Bee and Puppycat debuted this year, and it's already one of my favorite web series.
5. I'm slowly becoming one of the top video game composers on YouTube, or so I think. lol

Realizing I totally missed the topic, I will fix that. Got a job. Stayed at home. Watched porn. Played League half the year. Nothing special.

Another uneventful year for me.

I changed jobs twice and finally landed in my career field. Met a bunch of new friends and reconnected with a few old ones. The only thing that was missing from 2013 was a significant other, but I do have a date tomorrow night so that might change early in 2014 :)

Got a job for the first time since early 2011, and I can enter the new year knowing I'll still have it pending any and all acts of God/Man/Mother Nature. (All others were part time/seasonal/temporary) Other than that, meh, same crap, different day.

2013 was overall kind of a bad year for me. That's all I'll say about it. I'm just trying to look forward to positive things for the future. As for resolutions, I need to get out more and really just be better to myself. Also, I need to not be so nice. That might not sound like a good thing, but one of my characteristics is that I tend to be nicer than I should be.

The less promises you make, the more likely you are to keep them.
I'll promise not to promise too much. How ironic.

I see past year wasn't really good for many people...so I am not the only who think, that it was not a good year.

Bad things: I lost job, got into serious depression and some health problems because of it, pissed of everyone who knew me and severed all ties with one of the communities, and got into even more serious depression because of it all.

Good things: I've finished several projects, that I was developing for some time: finalized my Russian MK wikia, that was 4 years in the making, made review for another Castlevania, finally made video comparision of different versions of Battletoads and Double Dragon (first planned to do it back in 2010). Also, completed my very first JRPG game (and hated it), but then played another one. And finally by the end of the year I was able to find a new job.

I don't know what will happen in the future, but I have a little hope, that things maybe, just maybe, will be less hectic from now on.

2013 wasn't extremely bad for me but I feel it got worse as the year ended. My depression hasn't gone away, I got sick again, not long after getting better. It's kinda been one disaster after another. haha.

I hope this year I'l finally get my GED, actually lose weight and finish my book challenge this year, among other things.

Well this past year wasn't very eventful for me. I decided to take break from school this fall to try and sort things out. Just way too much stress with a lot of things in my life, money and family mostly.

Going forward this year hopefully I can actually get things straightened. I would love to get all the stress cut out of my life permanently... I got offered a somewhat unofficial promotion at work to look forward too, with more responsibilities and more hours. I have a few friends who are getting married this year along with my own brother's wedding possibly to look forward to. I'd also love to loss some weight and get my health problems straightened out too.

By the way, speaking of 2013? Did anyone see the Google 2013 ad on TV? It was such an awesome ad.
