Oh wow. I just saw on E-NEWS that he said his cancer came back. But now he died on top of it? That really sucks. R.I.P

I must admit, I never really trusted his reviews lol, but I do know he was a huge part of the American film industry.

Not that it's ever good when someone dies, but he wasn't in the best condition. I think it may have been a blessing that his fight is finally over.

And though Mr. Ebert said he never believed in anything after death, I bet he'll be happy to see Gene Siskel again.

While he was full of crap sometimes, especially when dealing with slasher movies in the beginning, he is probably the only name you can trust with a good amount of objectivity.


Reviews mean shit nowadays, try to release Transformers in the 90's and it would have bombed. Same goes for whatever game review site you have nowadays.



I will miss the guy, thankfully there are some acolytes who continue to not speak out of their asses when reviewing movies...
