I didn't even think about dreams/nightmares (and some disprove the whole die in a dream= sie in real life)
-When I was about 7 or 8 years old I was already really into the Nightmare on Elm Street series, but one night in December I had a nigtmare that really messed me up. The dream somehow involved Santa Claus, and while I was standing in front of him waiting to tell him what I wanted for Christmas, out from his stomach emerged the infamous Freddy glove. Freddy clawed his way out and in the process ripped Santa in half. All I remember after that point was a very bloody Santa, and then i woke up. I never went to see Santa at the mall after that.
-When I used to live in my old house I was always scared of the third floor. It's the only place I ever felt any sense of vetigo. I never really knew the people we would rent it out to; I knew who they were but I never talked to them. But I've had several nightmares involving that third floor. This one in particular I was walking through the hallway that connects to all three floors. Next thing I know I get thrown to the floor buy a person who I never saw in my entire life, but in the dream he was someone who lived on the third floor. He then pulled out a knife and stabbed me over and over and over. I physically felt cold with every stab, and then I just slipped away. There were at least several minutes of nothing before I woke up in a cold sweat. Now here's the wierd part, it was late spring/early summer, my fan was off and I was freezing.
-Similar to the last dream. But it was the back hallway. I went to investigate a noise in the back hallway (something I would never do in real life). I was at the top of the first set of stair when a figure, cloaked all in black ran up to me and pushed me back down the steps. I got up from the fall but the figure still chased me. I tried reaching my door but I didn't make it in time. At this point I actually woke up. It was still really early, but I was still a bit shakey about going back to sleep. Sure enough as soon as I fell asleep I picked up right where I left off. I got to the door, and I got hit in back of the head with something. Everything went black, and then I woke up for the second time. I refused to even close my eyes after that. I spent about an hour or so awake in my house waiting for everyone else woke up. I was even scared of going to sleep later that night.

Well, today my best friend (read: one of my best friends. Calm down broomsmythe) just picked up and left. To top that off, some fucking biter made an illegal lane change and smashed my dad into a concrete wall doing 70. He spun around trying to regain control and ended up facing oncoming traffic. Even though I wasn't in the car, that's still pretty scary. If my dad had been a foot to the left, I could be telling about how my dad died today...
I have to agree with SirManny111 that unsolved mystery theme music is pretty freaky especially if ur home alone at night, ur always positive u hear strange noises comming from closets and stuff, the host guy has a spooky voice too.
I hate tho dreams u have where ur being chased by a killah or sumthing and u try to run away but u cant run very fast no matter wot u try to do, u can only run slowly and ur muscles feel real heavy, u always wake up just as they grab u or r about to cut u up
