If you put a pay-for-the-forum option on this site, I swear, mostly everyone would leave, me included. And that would be totally bullshit.

Well I wouldn't pay 30 a month or anything, but I would consider a one time donation of like 10, 20, or even 30 bucks...

Or if you had to do it yearly, 10 bucks a year is nothing really....

IF they ever decide to make it a pay-to-post/pay-to-surf site, I'm pretty sure that would be the end of my time here. Not 'cause I'm a cheap bastard, but since I live in Honduras and I don't have a credit card and I really doubt my dad would let me borrow his.

The dreaded 'Server is Busy' messages..*sigh* That's why I was gone for so long. Just couldn't get on.

Anyway, the idea of donations I wouldn't be a bad idea if it would mean an improvement to the site. Maybe give those who have donated a special title along the lines of Mortal, Warrior, etc. I know its bribery, but whatever works. *grin*

A paid subscription I think is a bad idea. There is just so many members who are kids, have no credit cards, or are broke. Also, you would have to deal with all the billing headaches (i.e. collecting, refunds, record keeping etc)
