Sig of the Week (Week 19 – Fonts) *results period*

RULES AND GUIDELINES

01. Pay attention to the time cycle:

Monday: New Theme Announced
Monday - Thursday: Entry Period
Friday - Saturday: Voting
Sunday: Winners Announced

02. You must be the creator of the signature that you are entering.

03. It must include your username.

04. The limit on signature size is 400x150.

05. Animated signatures are not allowed.

06. One entry per user, however you may edit your entry before the voting period.

07. No repeated entries.

08. You may not vote for yourself.

09. Everyone will receive one dragon point for entering this competition.

10. 1st place wins 3 additional DPs, 2nd place wins 2 additional DPs, and 3rd place wins 1 additional DP.

This week's signature must contain only letters, numbers, and text symbols. You are going to need to be creative to stick out this week!

EDIT: I decided to redo my sig, and make it completely different. I like the way this one looks more. It's made entirely out of band names, even the background is made up of a band's name since all the background says is "All Shall Perish" written in green text. I think this one "flows" better than my original.

Flags are symbols for the purposes of symbolism, so I'm hoping there's not a problem with that..I would imagine no though.

When I said symbols, I meant < or \ or ! or & or etc.

It's supposed to just be text.

I see flags. I see an envelope. I'm not going to sit here and disqualify you, but hopefully the voters will take into account the theme of the week and vote for the users' signatures that are the most visually aesthetically pleasing, abide by the rules, and/ or are creative.

Flags are symbols, it wasn't made clear that it could only be stuff like this > or this @ as an example of symbols, I just thought I was being creative, I'm sorry. I'll just remove mine.

The fonts, letters, and symbols of the streets: graffiti.

For clarity, everything in the sig is a word made in graffiti and the arrows would be considered symbols.

Cool, well I made a new one anyway, just because I like the way the new one I made looks more. This week was definitely a challenge, but I liked that :)

That's pretty cool. I've never used C in any form, C#, C+, etc but I do know Java as well as Microsoft Excel Visual Basic coding. It's pretty cool, maybe cause I'm a computer nerd like that.

The bits like the strands of hair were created using text along paths, with some of them getting touched up afterward.

The majority of the rest like the mask. I simply placed text in, converted it to a smart object and then used Transform → Warp. I tried to curve the text in a way that gave them depth, but that ended up kinda hit or miss.
