A lot of them are homemade! Go to the settings link at the top of any page here and HTML away.

Use &ltimg; src="http://.......jpg"> to put an image, just put an address instead of a bunch of periods.

I made my sig according to everything and it won't work. The size is working, and everything and yet it still won't show up.

the url is wrong, it ends with "< /div " that will throw an error.

First get you image you want as your sig im using this one

Up on the top left of your screen you should see "settings" click on it




once your there you should see something like this is you scroll down a bit,




type in that box what you want your signature to be im using a picture so it should look like this,




Then once you got your signature all typed out go down and press submit







Okay now the famous how to put a pic in my sig first get the URL of the sig

the one i used is

http://img88.exs.cx/img88/5448/sig8.gif


then when your typing in your sig box type this in:


<(img src=http://img88.exs.cx/img88/5448/sig8.gif)>


BUT take out the ( and ) and insted of using my URL to my picture use your pics URL


If you have a pic on you hard drive and want to upload it on a sig so you can get a URL for it go to

Photobucket.com or
Tinypic.com

Well, since people obviously don't read the forum rules and/or keep an eye out for similar posts (especially when they're on the same page) it needs to be brought to attention, since you obviously weren't paying any attention before...

I'm more worried about the actual amount of MK related threads open at any given point in the GD. The negative replies to it spam the forum more than the actual thread.

Since you put it that way...I think both types of threads (MK-related threads in GD and "I know that there are several threads about this in this page and the next, but how is it that you put a sig??") are pieces of shit that do nothing but waste space.

People need help and you need to understand that...they need help just like you did when you first started. You just need to be patient with the NEWB's (since I am still considered one). They might not even know that there is a whole thread explaining how to do a sig.

Two things I've mentioned in other threads:

1)When I needed help with this, did I create a thread asking how to do so? No, I sent Hyuga and Shingo some PMs asking how to do it. Should everybody do this? No, but it's a good alternative that DOES NOT clutter the forum even more.

B)Where do people see these sigs that they wanna have themselves? In threads they go into. So if they've already been in some threads (meaning that they've already "explored" the forum a bit), what's so wrong in asking/expecting them to explore a bit more to see if there's a thread asking the same question they need answers to?

I'm not saying that they don't waste space. I'm just saying if it becomes a terrible probelm let the mods do their thing, but otherwise kindly link em to the FAQ...
