Its in development Silent Hill! Konami alongside Davis Films and named director Christophe Gans to direct! So this is gonna be a kick ass movie alongside Doom and RE:A its gonna be a kick ass movie season.

That Game is freaky....It'd make a great, and might I say Scary, movie. I'd love for this to happen.

cool i have all 3 games and there most craziest games out there. A sheer work of brilliance and insanity! And for them to make it into a movie is awsome a new generation of kids are gonna get scarred like never before if they do this movie the right way!!

Yeah hopefully it wont end up like the Duke Nukem movie they were planning dead. But it should be scary as hell. I mean it has a twisted storyline that would make Hideo Kojima (Metal Gear Solid: Sons Of Liberty) Piss his pants anyway it should be a kick ass movie and i cant wait for that to come out. And keep coming back as i'll try to get updates from time to time.

Yes, i definitely can't wait to see the movie, and play silent hill4: the room.

The series is scary as hell, and even much more.
It gives me the creeps, i always wonder what it would be like to play the game, with a gigantic cinema screen with huge speakers like a theater, and out in the wilderness late night, where the moon glows softly, and you're all alone!
I think, it would be quite terrifying.

The movie if made properly to give gamers also that same feeling of silent hill from the consoles would make silent hill a successful series in the gaming industry and the film industry, who knows maybe a cartoon series??

mm.. i think the plot might be the very first original silent hill game, with harry mason and cheryl mason, dahlia gillespie and cybill sheppard, etc. Or, it might be the very next game they will be releasing, silent hill 4; the room.
If not, then it will be a new one, but i'm pretty sure they'll be doing the movie based on the original silent hill. After all, it was the best that brought us the rest.

Yeah, I guess Silent Hill would make a decent movie in the right hands, the only problem is, Silent Hill doesn't have a plot. Just "wayell, I wondered into this place, and uh hate it."

Hopefully they won't fuck it up too bad like they did with RE and HOTD3 *shudder*...

actually dude Silent Hill has a brilliant and morbid plot go out and buy the SH3 strategy guide and it perfectly discribes the plots in detai. And I heard they were considering David Borenez from Angel and Buffy to play the lead role. Thinking about it he looks like Harry Mason so not to gossip but I agree that it might just be the original SH game!

the major problem is that in sh the guy is always alone. but in a movie, thats hard to do.

BTW there's a move called in the mouth of madness that in my opinion looked a little like sh when they get into a town.

Never really liked Silent Hill

Really. I know alot of my friends never liked Resident Evil until the movie came out they jumped on the band wagon. I liked it for the puzzles and figuring shit out it took me almost a year to beat it. But then came a similar game SH and I thought it was gonna be a carbon copy of RE but it was totaly different but i played through it and i found i was scarred to play it so i didnt play it for awhile and i came to liking it and im siked for Sh4:The Room!

yeah sh and re are diferent, but i preffer SH it has more elavorated characters
