Hmm...I used to be friends with this girl, until her asshole boyfriend threatened me because I tried to talk to her. And it's like she thinks it's romantic that he's being "protective." Wow, almost every girl at my school (junior high) so they're all thinkin now that they're almost in high school they can be with a bad boy and do whatever they want. It's stupid.

I can say that I have never been in a 'bad boy' phase because I've never had a boyfriend thank goodness. Though, sadly, I've recently gained this ugly habit of letting guys walk all over me when I should be defending myself. *sighs*

I think the 'bad boy' phase is sad and a little to frequent. To twist the meaning of the 'bad boy' phrase a bit, I think too many girls are going into 'bad girl' phases meaning, they feel that dressing slutty is the way to get attention and respect. At one point it was fashion fads, or rebellion, but lately, these girls don't even think about it. It's second nature to have nothing but a string or a hook (in more extreme cases, tape or glue) hold everything up.

OT: Ah, so it is a virus or spyware that's attacking your computer but showing up for us as linking to random words of it's choosing. I would recommend downloaeding spybot for that problem, but it has recently started going haywire on me. It might just be my comp though.

This is something I'm way too experienced with... Being a guy with lots of tatts, piercings, long hair, into metal, etc, I have been used by plenty of girls going through that sad little stage. Funnily enough once they get to know me properly and realise that under the appearance and attitude I'm really just a nice guy who wants to settle down and be happy, they lose interest.

It's a very sad and pathetic world where girls would rathe be cheated on and treated like shit than have a boyfriend who actually likes hugging and just talking who will always try to treat them right. I find it extremely ironic that most of the times I've been dumped is because of the fact that I'm a nice guy, girls (not all girls, of course) = Crazy.

From personal experience, at a party, treat a girl like shit for the first hour you meet her. Then spit some game and youll have her at the end of the night. Girls want what they cant have. proven fact. It also helps to have earings or tats.

Not only do I know chicks who are going through what you call the "bad boy" stage, every chick that I have ever felt anything for seems to be stuck in that phase. And guess who they come crying to when the dickhead treats them like shit; yup, me. I don't know if it's because of my nice and caring personality that keeps me in the "comforting friend" stage, or that these girls rather be with the dickhead who looks like he belongs on some "trendy" MTV style show, the the nice guy with long hair and red goatee. I've been told countless time that if I was to shave and cut the mop that I would better my chances, but I'm not ready to change for other people. And this is the sad truth of my life. I've actually asked a chick that I really liked why she, and countless other go for guys who will treat them like dirt, and her answer was "Because it's a challege to get them to care about you. Once you know they'll do anything for you the challenge is over, and things get boring." To which I responded "So you're telling me that you would rather be with someone who will cheat on you and ignore you, than someone who wants to be there for you and truly cares about you?" And the response I got not only upset me, it hurt too. "The second doesn't exist." It's things like this that has kept me from having a relationship and has molded me into a very cynical and bitter person. There were many times that I fell hard for a girl (sometimes to the point where I can't sleep at night) and just before I'm about to pour out my heart and soul, I hear shit like that that causes me to second guess everything, and it ruins everything. Sorry for rambling on but this is a subject that has plagued me my entire life, and I really needed to get all of this off of my chest. Infact, to give out a little more personal info, the chick I mentioned is the most recent girl (probably the second hardest I fell for) is moving back to Penn. in a few weeks and out of my life. Why? Because she was planning on getting closer to her now ex boyfriend (total dickhead), now she's screwed cause she is stuck with staying there due to transfers of school.

Yea, I get confused as a bad boy all the damn time. I'm 6'3, 250, solid as a rock, and I have an intimidating, thuggish appearance, deep voice and all. But women always judge my book by its cover. I'm not abusive, I treat women like queens, thats how I've been brought up. It's hard to even form a relationship when the other person thinks youre something that you're not...

I've heard this plenty of times. And it seams to be true. It's not that they nessisarily want a guy who treats them like crap, they just want someone whos a challenge. Who isn't going to give into her everytime and let here walk all over them. Us guys have said it plenty of times, that all women like to play games when it comes to dating. It all boils down to this, with them playing head games. Even if they don't intend to, it's nature to them. It's not that they want guys who are dicks to them, they just don't want guys who will going to do everything for her because she says so. If a girl your interest in turns you down then comes crying to you when her dick of a boyfriend treats her like shit, and your the sap who leds your shoulder for her to cry on your not being a challage.
On a side not, theres a colomnust over at AskMen.com who's whhole philosaphy on dating is actually base on this idea. I garentee you if you told him this conversation, he would say that the girl hit the nail on the head. It is completly true. He'd probably be able to explain it better than me too.

As for this, I don't know how old this girl is your talking about, but some girls who are just fucked up from being brought up from a bad background tend to see things this way. She probably sees things this way for the simple reason that all of her boyfriends where the "bad boys" type, and all have probably treated her like shit.
