one chaff grenade and its all over.

Snake

I'm not familiar with MGS so what exactly is the chaff grenade? If its a simple EMP I think Samus's suit is advanced enough to handle it. Even if it wasn't she could just tear the suit off and kick ass in Zero Suit.

But if its some magic deus ex machina one hit kill grenade then I dunno

Really? U didnt love Ocelot after the ENTIRE thing is revealed? In the end he was one of the few good guys... at least in my opinion.

Back to topic.. would a Chaff grenade really affect alien tech? Especially since Samus goes around stepping in phazon and electromagnetic storms and taking it like a champ.

I agree, Ocelot felt like the real hero of the story, next to Big Boss...

also, in Prime/Prime 2, Samus' visor would get blurred and covered in static when she got near those weird floating energy ball things that drop bombs and freak out when you charge your laser, and also when hit by certain kinds of energy attacks, so she isn't completely immune to interference... I'm betting a Chaff grenade would do the same... or a stun grenade could blur her vision long enough for him to hit her with a Stinger or something...

Samus is not going to stand there to take everything Snake throws at her, lol. If Snake tries to hide X-Ray visor, if he runs grapple beam or super speed, cover gets blown up by energy beam or missiles.

Or she could just destroy the whole place with a charged beam. The End.

UGRRR... unfortunately snake is suffering from accelerated aging, causing his health to decline. still, as long Snake has his Syringe he should be able to outsmart Samus. so ill say snake.

Maybe you should've tried reading the first post, this is MGS2 Snake, before he was aging...

Well Snake's deadliest weapon is his intel, and if he knows everything about Samus then he is without a doubt going to win.

The guy took out a giant nuclear robot for crying out loud.

Samus took down Ridley like a million times and he's a giant space pirate. Space Pirates > Nuclear Robots. Moore's law, look it up

How is Snake going to acquire intel about a combat suit made by an extinct alien race?

And while he is trying to do that, BOOM HEADSHOT!

Also, Kraid > anything Snake has defeated.

In the op it says Snake has full intel on Samus. And I'm willing to bet that Snake could find and exploit any of her weaknesses.

And what makes Snake beating a Metal Gear so impressive is that he doesn't have the equipment that Samus does. Riley might be stronger than a metal gear (maybe, I'm not to familiar with Medroid.) but Samus has an advanced combat suit with weapons making her victory not as impressive. Snake has some pretty fancy gear but nothing as sophisticated as Samus. I say if normal human Snake can take out a giant robot he can take out Samus.
