What Sonic game do you think has the best music, and what's your favorite track/song?

Hmm, it's real hard for me to pick a favorite sonic game. Probably my favorite is Metropolis Zone from Sonic 2.
If you have winamp installed there is a shoutcast channel that only plays sonic songs from all sources. Just do a search for video game.

Cool, I'll try that out.
For me, it would have to be the Ending Credits from Sonic 3 or SA1 final Credits(Super Sonic)

You don't have super sonic warrior? It's the original japanese opening for Sonic CD. I ripped it off of Sonic Jam (Sega Saturn). *Hugs Sonic Jam* Lots of great stuff on there. It makes the GC Sonic Compilation kind of a disappointment.

That's actaully going to be on Sonic Classic Collection Plus for the PS2.
Do you think they should reuse some of the old Sonic music for some of the new games that will come out. And yeah Super Sonic Warrior is pretty cool, I just downloaded it.

In a way they always do. The first zone has always seemed to have been Green Hill Zone with slight changes in the mix.

Omfg, you better be serious. I'm so getting it if it has Sonic CD. I was uber-pissed that the gamecube version just teases you with the opening movie. They were originally going to have it in, but scrapped it at the last moment due to compatibility issues.
Sonic CD has my favorite music by far. I have a rare CD that has the COMPLETE music tracks as well. On the Sega CD version of Sonic CD most the the music fades out after a minute or two while my CD has the full 3 or 4 minute music selections.

What's the matter, James? No glib remark? No pithy comeback?

Sonic adventure for dc had the best songs in my opinion. Especially the ending and opining credits as well.

In Sonic Adventure for DC and GC, whenever they showed Dr Robotniks giant eggship, it played some evil techno music, it was awesome music.
