Sounds You Cant Stand/ Your Favorite Sounds

What are the sounds that just drive you insane?

My #1 absolutely has to be that squeaky sound that Styrofoam makes- to me, it is unbearable. Put me in a room made of Styrofoam and I'll tell you anything you want to know in about two minutes. My grandparents used to have this old Styrofoam cooler we'd take on road trips to our cabin. The cooler would rattle in the car THE WHOLE WAY THERE! I would have to bring earphones just so I wouldn't have to listen to it.

2. The sound of people putting dishes away- I hate the sound of dishes scraping against each other.

Other dislikes- Whining children, people scraping their forks on their teeth

My favorite sound is the wind blowing through pine trees. I couldn't explain it, but I absolutely love it. It is so soothing and peaceful.

Other favorites- Distantly rumbling thunder, soft rain,and music.

Hmmmm... Favorite sounds....

I love the sound metal pots and pans make when they have water in them and they bump into something. What else..... The ocean, rain on metal... Lots of combinations of water and metal. I also like the sound of machinery quite a bit. I'm really drunk so I'm having a hard time typing....... I think cello is the most beautiful and expressive instrument. I love the sound of cello.... The sound of meat hitting a hot skillet. That's a great sound. I like the sound dishwashers make... It's kind of rhythmic in a way.

I fingerlickin' hate the sound of children's voices.

I absolutely dread the sound of cardboard scraping cardboard, or scraping things on cardboard. It makes me feel weird, like I have a fail safe activated by it; it literally stops me in my tracks.

I work with boxes from time to time and have been trying to perfect it to where there is no noise. Ugh.

Favorite sounds? A woman being pleasured (preferably by me), rain, bass, purring, cracking bones, distant trains, and distant city noise.

I'm rather sensitive to sound, but most of all I hate fine or sharp sounds. It drives me up a wall.

For enjoyable sounds, there is no more pleasurable sound than that of a ricochet. No two are a like, but they all share that same familiar twang.

I dislike the sound of styrofoam & people hitting their teeth with utensils.

I like the sounds of fireworks & people being pleasured haha.

I'm pretty boring. 3 out of 4 of my choices were taken.

My least favorite sounds are fingernails on blackboards, white noise, and Lil' Wayne's voice.

My most favorite sounds are the violin, the Persian ney, the piano (played well), Latin accents, and the cries of the following pokemon:

Favorite sounds:
- runing water and burning fire;
- mechanical noises (like the ones old fridges make) - they make me feel comfortable for some reason;
- rain;

Unfavorite sounds:
- anything REALLY LOUD (especially bells ringing, people SHOUTING, e.t.c.);
- drills drilling concrete;
- people smacking lips and making whistling noises - absolutely drives me mad;

I'm really sensitive to loud noises as well- I have a phobia to loud, unexpected noises like fire alarms. I work at a preschool that has to have monthly drills, and the fire alarms are so unbelievably loud nowadays.

Something else that drives me insane- people who chomp on gum. You're not a cow, close your damn mouth!

Sounds I can't stand:

- Booming Thunder that shakes my entire house

- Trains

- Anything flying over my house like Helicopters and Airplanes

- Insects flying near my ear, that buzzing will drive me insane


Sounds I enjoy:

- Wind

- Accoustic guitars

- Steve Blum's voice

The dull throbbing sound of a sub-woofer coming through the walls of my house. I've spent serious research trying to develop a technology that would actually make those things self-destruct.

Worst sounds: When someone is cutting food on a plate and scratches it with the knife. I fucking hate that.

When you pour a drink into a glass. It's especially annoying and uncomfortable in movies.

Best sounds: A finely-tuned classical guitar.

Silence. Not really silence but, more like when your outside at night by yourself in a rural area.

Another sound I can't stand: Eating. The sounds people make when they eat are just disgusting.... I try to eat as quietly as I possibly can, but with some foods it can be hard, heh. One does not eat cereal silently.

A noise I cannot stand that always gives me chills is anything that scrapes on metal. I DESPISE that sound.

But what I do love to hear is any kind of fan that is on. I sleep with a fan turned on, even if its freezing in my room. That sound just puts me to sleep. Also vacuum cleaners.

I also cannot STAND the sounds of like styrofoam, it drives me insane. I also hate the sounds of drawing with a sharpie on paper, like I can't do it. No idea why lol.

I guess my favorite sounds are thunder, or rain on the roof.

You would hate being around me. Along with my knuckles, I VERY foten crack my neck, jaw, shoulderblades,back, and knees. I can do my jaw and knees without end.
